Hello,
I am trying to install the Radeon™ RX 580 Drivers on my Windows Server 2019 Standard which has an MSI Radeon Armor RX 580. However, the desktop edition «Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.4.2» fails with Error 182 and the Win10-Radeon-Pro-Software-Enterprise-20.Q2’s options for install has the following issues:
1. Express install — Stalls at «Please wait while detecting hardware»
2. Custom Install — Stalls at «Checking for new drivers…»
The «Auto-Detect and Install Radeon™ Graphics Drivers for Windows» fails with Error 182.
I know it works because the CPU (AMD Ryzen 7 1700X) did not come with a built-in graphics card so any display I did came from the RX 580 HDMI port.
I can’t figure out where the log is to checking where it stopped. I saw a previous thread on PSU and I have a 550W so I don’t think that’s the problem since the display works.
Please let me know how to proceed.

Всем привет, хотел поставить на риг c AMD картами (rx570) — Windows Server 2016, после установки никакие дрова не встают из установщика, только из Диспетчера устройств можно указать и поставить, но в этом случае майнинг программы ругаются на отсутствие opencl. Потанцевал немного, решил попробовать Windows Server 2012 r2, тут уже дрова ставятся только от 8.1 (v17.7.1) или Blockchain. Но клеймор и другие майнинг программы вылетают APPCRASH (пробовал для Ethash и CryptoNight).
Возможно кто то сталкивался с установкой Windows Server‘a вместе с AMD картами? поделитесь опытом?
P.s мат.плата B250 BTC (Китайская с 7ю пазами PCI)

Виртуальную память расширил до 16Гб и setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 тоже сделал

Хотел подключить несколько компов в единую ферму и разместить там приложения для IIS с балансировкой нагрузки.

если так хочется трахатсо с последними, то вот решение:
Recent 18.x adrenalin drivers do not install on windows 2016.
They’re heavy broken.
I managed to hack the installation. I’ll describe how.
1) Boot in driver signature enforcement disable mode (F8)
2) Unpack driver bundle, look for driver’s inf file
3) Replace «10.0.1» => «10.0». This will allow to «Have disk» in device manager. You’ll have to «Have disk», otherwise system prefers VGA driver.
4) Install works fine but there’s still problem. After installation OpenCL is broken completely, opengl also somehow broken (quake crashes)
5) Re-«Have disk». Run task manager , wait until screen flickers and then KILL drvinst.exe process BEFORE it has finished re-installing. Run opencl-z to check if opencl is working
6) If you want radeon settings then install ccc2_install.exe. It installs fine.
7) For vulkan install VulkanRT.exe
MSI afterburner and ntoverdrivetool do not work (ADL api problem). Not sure if they conflict with recent driver bundle or its server issue.

Все очень просто
У меня фермы на nvidia на server 2012r2
Ядро ОС там примерно как у 8.1
То есть резервирования памяти нет и прекрасно работают 1063
Из коробки поддерживается 8 видеокарт, не нужен тюнинг как с 7
Кроме того у серверных ОС по умолчанию включено только самое необходимое и их надежность выше, и заодно обновления отключаются штатной функцией без всяких противоестественных программок, правок реестра и прочиз танцев с бубном.

Да, ура получилось, 17.7.2 работают на 2012r2, но дрова надо скачивать для Windows 7 не для 10ки. (вот эти)

Работает порядка 5 ферм на Windows Server 2016 с картами AMD (Vega и RX 580). Работает только с дровами Blockcain, Adrenalin не устанавливается никак. Перевожу фермы потихоньку на Windows 10

У меня на 2008 стоят пара 560 дрв 17.7
предварительно шить частоты карты иначе не погонишь, панель не запускается и проги не видят карту, хоть клэймор видит и то хорошо.

Затем что есть рабочий серв и в него можно воткнуться. Вот скажите, если нечего по существу ответить — может лучше промолчать?
По теме. Официальная позиция амуде такая — серверные ос от МС не поддерживаются. Какайте кирпичами, спасибо, занавес. Решение только одно, качай блокчейн драйвер бета и ставь его через диспетчер устройств — на 2016 так должно взлететь.

Хешрейт на 17.7.2 работают на 2012r2 не падает?
Чучуть потестил, нет хешрейт не упал, я перешёл с 10ки на WS2012r2. Как был около 29.5 на rx570 так столько же и осталось.
Решение только одно, качай блокчейн драйвер бета и ставь его через диспетчер устройств — на 2016 так должно взлететь.
Да через диспетчер устройств ставится, но майнинг не начинается просит opencl

дду и потом ставить через setup.exe (амудешнуым установщиком). Если не поможет — ищу проблему дальше — обновления, нетфреймворк и т.д.

Всем привет!
Тут выше писали что Windows Server не резервирует видеопамять, уже который день ковыряю, ставил и 2012 и 2016 Server и на обоих не идёт выше 352 эпохи на 4гб картах, видимо на этих системах всё точно так же как и на Windows 10, винда блокирует часть видеопамяти((((
