Greetings Ranjith4385,
I would suggest 2 solutions for you, each of which have different solutions, as i am still not sure of the Support of Win2012R2, but i think it is online now.
well Solution 1:
1- upgrade your IP, using IP Recovery DVD.
2- try installing your Win 2012 R2 x64 bit OS using IP
Solution 2:
1- Use the ORCA, or ACU to configure your HDD
2- install the Win 2012 R2 x64 bit OS, by booting from disk.
3- install the latest SPP (found on hp.com/go/spp).
then go for configuring the management Software manually
Best Regards and Appreciation,
Hazem Bahgat

Windows could not apply unattended settings during pass (nul
Hi guys,
I hope I am posting this in the correct section, if I ain’t apologies from me.
I am in the process of installing Windows 7 on to the VM VirtulBox and I am doing this through an .iso — I am trying to mount the following onto the VM (Windows Global Server Offline Image for Windows Server 2008 SP2 x64 Bootable DVD)
I get as far as where Windows is being installed and moved on to installing the updates however this is where it fails and I get the following error:
«Windows could not apply unattended settings during pass (null)» — The Installation was cancelled.
I have been Googling the resolution to this problem but I can’t seem to find a definite answer anywhere.
If someone can help me with this I would really really appreciate it!
Thanks

Post a VM log file: right click the VM in the GUI. Select «Show Log». Save «VBox.log» (ONLY) to a file. COMPRESS that file and attach it to a message here. Make sure the VM is fully shut down before taking a log.
I should say however that I doubt I’ll learn much from the log — this doesn’t sound like a problem with the target PC, and being a virtual PC doesn’t change that. You really need to approach Microsoft if you want support for their products.

Hi,
Thanks for your response
I believe it is an issue to do with the updates with SP2 which is causing it to crash but I am not sure. I am only saying this because I had read it on other posts over the net.

You need to ask the people who created this special installation ISO.
It seems to contain an unattended installation script which tries to do additional things.

You should reduce the guest RAM allocation to 2GB. Your host can’t afford 4GB.
Otherwise, I don’t see much else to pick on. As I said, you really need to approach Microsoft for support for one of their products.

Thanks for the response — do you mind confirming where abouts you are seeing this in script, so I can go back?

Sir ! Version from 1607 to 1809 worked with AutoUnattend
Hi MyVN
There is no reason for AutoUnattended not working, I do it all the time
So make an iso with Winreducer with only AutoUnattendeg done
This should work
Do not forget to activate Unattended
It is not necessary to fill everything in;
log in as MyVN, select administrator
add a few items like
Unattended Accept EULA
Unattended Computer Name
Unattended Hide Boot Image Selection
Unattended Page File Size
Unattended Power Schemes
Unattended Protect your PC
Unattended System Language
Unattended System Keyboard
Unattended Text Size (DPI)
Unattended Time Zone
more is not needed

Copy My AutoUnattend.xml into your Winreduced iso with ultraiso or analog program
The link is [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
If this works then adapt this iso to your data
Change only name, keyboard & language and test

Hi, everyone
Bug: «Windows could not apply unattend setting during pass [specialize]»
Cause by in «[WiN7PATH or ExtractedByWinReducer] allready had previous custom configuration setting e.g. Autounattend.xml, Lastsession.inf and WinReducerEX70.wccf files.»
Solved : Deletes all previous custom configuration setting files that mentioned above.»
CODE :
DEL /F /Q «%WiN7PATH%»\Autounattend.xml >NUL
DEL /F /Q «%WiN7PATH%»\Lastsession.inf >NUL
DEL /F /Q «%WiN7PATH%»\WinReducerEX70.wccf >NUL
Thanks, hope this helps some
