Принесли мне тут мониторчик 34″ Xiaomi Curved XMMNTWQ34 с проблемой, что не удаётся подключить по HDMI и выставить штатное разрешение 3440×1440 пикселей.
Попробовали и дорогой высокочастотный кабель, и драйвера меняли, но всё равно — максимальное разрешение 1920×1080, хоть ты тресни! Драйверов для данного монитора не существует, а виндой он определяется как Plug-n-play.
Решения проблемы в интернете найти не удалось, более менее толковые сводились к тому, что в родном приложении от видеокарты есть возможность вручную прописать любое разрешение.
Увы, данное решение оказалось тупиковым: монитор хоть и выдаёт нужные пропорции, но само разрешение оказывается «виртуальным», картинка только экстраполируется до данного разрешения, шрифты становятся нечитаемыми. Так что монитор действительно оказался «Курвед» (Курва — польский вульгаризм означающий женщину с пониженной социальной ответственностью)
У данного монитора все выходы имеются в двойном экземпляре: два HDMI и два DisplayPort. Нужно это для того, чтобы можно было бы выводить изображение с двух разных источников на монитор одновременно. Так вот, HDMI-1 нужен только для подключения второго, дополнительного источника изображения и максимальное разрешение на нём составляет те самые 1920×1080.
Единственный источник сигнала следует подключать только в разъем HDMI-2, тогда ОС автоматически и без каких либо дополнительных танцев с бубнами, как и положено PnP-монитору определяет правильное разрешение.
В инструкции про это курвство тоже ни слова не сказано. Специально смотрел даже английскую версию. Китайским не владею, но любопытно было бы узнать…
Это не первый раз, когда я сталкиваюсь с тем, что у китайцев вся логика идёт задом-наперёд. Видимо это какие то глубокие корни в их менталитете. Надеюсь, что теперь удастся без труда «нагуглить» решение проблемы тем, кто столкнётся с этим «курвед» монитором!
