Microsoft is now releasing Windows 10 build 17134 for PCs with devices enrolled in the Fast ring of the Windows Insider Program. This new test preview is part of the Redstone 4 development that fixes the mysterious blocking bug found in build 17133.
Recently, test build 17133 was made available in the Release Preview as the final version that was supposed to roll out as version 1804 on April 10, but a bug appeared at the eleventh hour that delayed the official launch.
Windows 10 build 17134 is the release that replaces build 17133, and the one that now is considered the final version. According to the company, the new build doesn’t introduce any new features, but it bundles the fixes released with build 17133.73 and addresses a reliability problem that could cause a “higher percentage” of Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) on devices.
Microsoft explains that it could have rolled out a patch to fix the issue, but it decided to compile build 17134 that includes the fix instead.
Build 17134 is now rolling out to the Fast ring, and if it works as expected, it’ll then appear in the Slow ring and in the Release Preview. Once the company can ensure that is stable enough, it’ll release to everyone as Windows version 1803 (Spring Creators Update) in the coming days or weeks.

Downloading Windows 10 build 17134
Although there are no ISO files for Windows 10 build 17134, the update is available immediately through the Fast ring for PCs. This preview build will download and install automatically on your device, but you can always force the update from Settings > Update & security > Windows Update and clicking the Check for updates button.

Today, we are releasing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17134 (RS4) to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring. This build has no new features and includes the fixes from KB4100375 as well as some fixes for general reliability of the OS. As Build 17133 progressed through the rings, we discovered some reliability issues we wanted to fix. In certain cases, these reliability issues could have led to a higher percentage of (BSOD) on PCs for example. Instead of creating a Cumulative Update package to service these issues, we decided to create a new build with the fixes included. This just reinforces that Windows Insiders are critical to helping us find and fix issues before releasing feature updates to all our customers so thank you!

Microsoft declared Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17134 (Redstone 4) to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring. The build is without having a new feature but carries few fixes from KB4100375 and for general reliability of the OS. The previous one advanced through the rings, they discovered some reliability issues needed to be fixed.

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17134 for Fast Ring
Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17134 includes only fixes for the troubles met due to the previous build.
Because of the problem percentage of computers encountering BSOD increased. However, a cumulative update might do the work but Microsoft decided to push Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17134. Taking the customer’s effort into account they want to help customers by fixing the issues completely.
On 10 April 2018, Microsoft issued KB4100375 for Windows 10 Build 17133.73 for the Insiders for all the 3 Fast, Slow, moreover, Preview rings level.
In the Preview build 17133, there were some changes and new features came to the Windows Insiders. PDF security issue in Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer from identifying custom controls were the main issues Microsoft addressed.
In addition, they pushed Security updates to Internet Explorer (IE), Microsoft Edge, Microsoft scripting engine, and Windows cryptography. They also spouted Windows Server including Windows datacenter networking, kernel, and Microsoft graphics component.
But these changes created issues as users started getting Blue Screen of Death in greater extent. So Build 17134 included the fixes regarding modifications made in the previous.
Microsoft this week began rolling out Windows 10 preview build 17134 to Fast ring Insiders, and now its time for the Slow and Release Preview rings to get a taste. Windows Insider chief announced today that the build is now available to download for Insiders in the Slow and Release Preview rings.
To recap, there are no new features included in this build. However, build 17134 replaced 17133 as the potential release candidate once Microsoft ran into reliability issues with 17133 during testing. As Microsoft explained at the time:

Should testing go well, then build 17134 will make its way to the public soon. The build is moving ahead despite an issue causing the Settings app to crash for at least some users, though the Insider team says that it is not widespread.
If you’re in the Slow or Release Preview rings for Windows 10, you should be able to download this latest release now. Build 17134 made its way out to HoloLens Insiders this week as well.

Так уж случилось, но компания Microsoft отозвала статус RTM у сборки Windows 10 под номером 17133 из-за обнаруженных ошибок в системе. Для решения проблем была скомпилирована сборка с номером 17134, которая была подписана в качестве RTM. Необходимые для осуществления обновления файлы уже загружены на сервера Microsoft, а значит желающие могут скачать и установить новую сборку на своих устройствах.
Отметим, что если вы ранее установили сборку 17133, то сейчас вы можете либо войти в программу Windows Insider и получить обновление до 17134, либо воспользоваться утилитой Media Creation Tool и также осуществить обновление до новой сборки.
Официальной новой версии Media Creation Tool пока нет, но в сети уже опубликован XML-файл, который содержит все необходимые данные, чтобы заставить старую версию утилиты работать со сборкой 17134.

- Извлеките файл MediaCreationTool_17134.exe;
