I have acer aspire V5-573G, I tried to install Windows 10 on my machine using USB key. I have booted to USB key, formatted hard drive and tired to install it, but it gave me error «Windows cannot install required files. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x800701E3».
After searching through the internet I found that you need to upgrade to Windows 10 from windows 8.1 and shouldn’t do direct install. Then I have installed windows 8.1 pro and then I proceded to upgrade to Windows 10 but after sometime the update failed and restored to previous version of windows and it showed error «The installion failed in the FIRST_BOOT phrase with an error during BEGIN_FIRST_BOOT operation».
Please Help, How to install windows 10.

I have Aspire V5-573G, which has all hardware requirements for Windows 10. The problem is when I tried to upgrade from windows 8.1 to 10 after 30%, the installation stops and roll backs to windows 8.1, I tried this 3 times and fed up. I don’t like to scare you, but from the symptoms, maybe your hard disk has problems. It can be just bad sectors, but I would test it for errors. If it is still under Warranty, have it replaced, if not you may have to buy a new one. You can test it with a live CD with tools, such as a Linux live CD or Hiren’s Boot CD. Hiren’s is a collection of troubleshooting tools in a bootable CD-ROM.
Backup your data to another disk and then you can attempt to fix bad sectors by writing zeros to the disk (low level format). If it completes without errors, it will return to the factory unformatted state, so you can attempt to clean-install Windows 10 again. Hiren’s disk diagnostic tools can also write zeros. If you use the same tool as your hard disk brand (eg WD or Seagate) it can also fix minor errors without affecting data.

It is only happening with Windows 10, as Windows 10 installation failed I reinstalled Windows 8.1 and the installation went smoothly. Now I’m currently running Windows 8.1. My doubt is if hard disk is faulty, it wouldn’t allow me to install windows 8.1 as well right?

Yes, right! So to USB installation media has the problem. Try wiping it and creating the installer again. Try connecting it to a different USB slot (prefer USB 2.0 for maximum compatibility, avoid USB 3.0 blue slots).

I would try installing Windows 10 in another computer to find out if the USB Flash drive works OK. If it has problems in the other computer as well, then something is wrong with the USB Flash drive. First step to fix it would be to delete it and create it again. If that doesn’t work, it could be a hardware problem with the drive.
On a second thought, why bother with the USB Flash drive? I would burn the ISO on a DVD disk and install Windows 10 from there.

Может дело в том, что скрытый раздел с заводской конфигурацией повреждён, но мы вроде с ним ничего не делали. Что можете посоветовать? Диски восстановления не создавали, да это и невозможно, так как на ноутбуке отсутствует дисковод.

В этом случае, если конечно восстановить загрузку Windows 8.1, 10 не удастся, вы можете просто откатить ноутбук к заводской конфигурации, да, все ваши установленные программы удалятся и вам придётся установить их заново, но зато у вас будет чистая операционная система, какой она была на момент покупки ноутбука.
Но сущим кошмаром, даже для опытного пользователя, бывает ситуация, когда программа отката к заводским настройкам оказывается неработоспособной, что тогда делать? Вот на такой случай пригодятся диски восстановления или флешка, но создать их нужно заранее, лучше сразу после приобретения ноутбука. Все способы восстановления заводских настроек на ноутбуке Acer Aspire V5
Рассмотрим три самые распространённые ситуации:
1. Ноутбук нормально загружается, но работает нестабильно, чистка системы и проверка на вирусы результата не принесли, в этом случае можно запустить откат прямо в операционной системе.
2. Windows 8.1, 10 не загружается, скрытые разделы на ноутбуке не удалены, программа отката к изначальной заводской конфигурации Acer Recovery Management нормально функционирует.
3. Windows 8.1, 10 не загружается, скрытые разделы на ноутбуке удалены или неработоспособны и вам не удаётся запустить программу Acer Recovery Management.
Если ваш ноутбук Acer нормально загружается, но операционная система работает нестабильно, то вы можете скопировать все важные данные на диск (D:) и откатить ноутбук к заводским настройкам. Как это сделать!
Переходим в интерфейс Metro Windows 8.1

и жмём на стрелочку
Выбираем программу Acer Recovery Management
В главном окне программы нажимаем на кнопку Восстановление заводских настроек.
Все ваши личные файлы и приложения будут удалены. Далее.
Вы хотите удалить файлы со всех дисков?
Жмём на кнопку Только диск, на котором установлена Windows.
Вся информация на диске (D:) останется нетронутой.
Нажмите на кнопку Просто удалить мои файлы
Все личные файлы и приложения будут удалены с компьютера.
Продолжить
Начинается процесс восстановления заводских настроек длительностью от 15 до 30 минут
Региональные настройки выставлены по умолчанию правильно. Далее
Принимаем условия лицензии.
Пропустить
Вводим имя компьютера, например Andrey-PK и жмём Далее.
Использовать стандартные параметры.
Вводим имя пользователя и жмём Готово.

Загружается восстановленная и чистенькая Windows 8.1.
Как и договаривались, информация на диске (D:) осталась нетронутой.

Жмём при загрузке ноутбука F2 и входим в БИОС, идём на вкладку Main, смотрим параметр отвечающий за включение и отключение функции восстановления заводских настроек ноутбука Acer — D2D Recovery, он должен быть включен, то есть выставлен в положение Enabled.
Опция F12 Boot Menu, отвечающая за появление загрузочного меню при нажатии клавиши F12, тоже должна быть включена (Enabled).
жмём на F10, этим мы сохраняем наши изменения в БИОС и перезагружаемся
После перезагрузки жмём одновременно на две клавиши Alt + F10 и входим в программу отката к заводским настройкам.
Диагностика
Вернуть в исходное состояние
Все ваши личные файлы будут удалены.
Только диск. на котором установлена система Windows
Просто удалить мои файлы
Происходит возврат ноутбука в исходное состояние

Подсоединяем к ноутбуку флешку восстановления,
перезагружаемся и сразу жмём клавишу F12, входим в меню загрузки ноутбука, с помощью стрелок на клавиатуре выбираем нашу флешку и жмём Enter, происходит загрузка с флешки.
