In order to run Waves plugins on Windows 7 or Window 8.1, please follow the steps below:

Step #1 — Activate licenses to a USB Flash Drive using a supported system

On a computer running an operating system that supports the current version of Waves Central (Windows 10 and up / macOS 10.15 and up), follow these steps:

1. Download and install Waves Central for Mac | Windows
   If you already have Waves Central installed, skip to the next step.
2. Launch Waves Central:
   On Windows: via the desktop shortcut or via Start Menu > All Programs > Waves Central.
   On Mac: Applications > Waves Central.
3. Select the Licenses page.
4. Select Not Activated at the top of the page.
5. Choose the license/s you wish to activate. Selected licenses will appear in the list on the right.
6. On the right panel, choose your connected USB flash drive as the target device for license activation.
7. Click the Activate button.

Step #2 — Install Waves plugins on the Windows 7 / Windows 8.1 machine

• 1. On the Windows 7 / Windows 8.1 computer, go to Control Panel > Programs and Features and uninstall Waves Central.
  2. Download the V10 Offline Installation Folder for Windows.
  3. Once done, disconnect your computer from the internet.
  4. Extract the downloaded zip file and run Install_Waves_Central.exe (It will auto-launch at the end of the installation).
  5. Since you are offline, when prompted to log in, click ‘Continue Offline’.
  6. In File Explorer, browse to the Waves V10 Plugins folder (which you just extracted) and double-click on the file named “install.cen”. Waves Central will open on the Offline Installer page.
  7. Select the products you wish to install and click on Install.
  8. Once done, connect the USB flash drive you have prepared in Step #1 to this computer to activate the plugins.

  Important Notes:

  • For V10 products to work, you will need to have corresponding licenses that are V10 or higher.
    If you own V9 licenses, please follow the steps listed here to install V9 plugins.
  • Products released after October 27, 2019 will not be available in the V10 Offline Installer.
  • To see a list of the plugins available in the V10 installer, scroll down to the bottom of this page.
  • When installing using the offline installer, sample libraries for Waves instruments must be installed manually.
• 1. On the Windows 7 / Windows 8.1 computer, go to Control Panel > Programs and Features and uninstall Waves Central.

Your products are now ready to use.

Please note: If you launch Waves Central when online, it will auto-update to the latest version which is not supported on Windows 7 / Windows 8.1. Please make sure to only run Waves Central when you’re offline.

1. Quit your DAW.
2. Download and run the Waves V9.3 Installer for Windows.
3. From the Select Products screen, check the plugins or bundles for which you have licenses, and complete the installation process. Note that non-bundled plugins are listed under the Single Plugins category.

If your licenses are already activated to a USB flash drive, connect your flash drive and you’re all set.

If your licenses are not yet activated to a USB flash drive:

1. On a computer with an operating system that supports the Waves Central application [Windows 10 and up / macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) and up]; Download and install Waves Central for Mac | Windows.
2. Connect your USB flash drive to the computer running Waves Central.
3. Launch the Waves Central application.
   • Windows: via the desktop shortcut or Start Menu > All Programs > Waves Central.
   • Mac: Applications > Waves Central.
4. Log into Waves Central using your Waves account information.
5. Select the Licenses page.
6. Select Not Activated at the top of the page.
7. Choose the license/s you wish to activate. Selected licenses will appear in the list on the right.
8. Choose your USB flash drive as the target device.
9. Click the Activate button.
10. Connect this USB flash drive to the Windows 32-bit computer.

Please note that products released after September 10, 2015 will not be added to the v9.3 installer. Check our Release Notes for specific information.

To manage your licenses after they have been activated, use the Manage Licenses section of the Waves Central application.

1. Установить нужные плагины при помощи Waves Central (нужна регистрация) Скачать Waves Central
2. Запустить один из плагинов в DAW и закрыть (чтобы создались нужные папки)
3. Папку WavesLicenseEngine.bundle поместить с заменой в

4. Файл index.js поместить с заменой в (если устанавливали COSMOS)

5. Запустить Waves_Keygen.exe, вписать ID устройства, нажать «Generate» и сохранить полученный файл лицензии(*.wle)
Примечание: ID устройства можно посмотреть в Waves Central > Licenses
6. Сохранённый файл лицензии(*.wle) поместить в

%PROGRAMDATA%\Waves Audio\Licenses
Если впоследствии захотите установить ещё плагины, то повторите «процедуру».

Установка(macOS)
Install Waves.

Replace «WavesLicenseEngine» in
/Library/Application Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle/Contents/MacOS/
Codesign WavesLicenseEngine.bundle if it’s required.

Included patched WavesLicenseEngine is v2.5.1.1.
You can check version of your WavesLicenseEngine by seeing /WavesLicenseEngine.bundle/Contents/Info.plist

Replace «index.js» in
/Library/Application Support/Waves/COSMOS/HTML/

Replace «app.asar» in
/Applications/Waves/COSMOS/COSMOS.app/Contents/Resources/

Run R2R KeyGen on Windows.
Input Device ID to the keygen.
You can find the Devices and their ID at Licenses tab in WavesCentral.
Generate *.wle license.
