- Download your AutoCAD 2004 Sp1
- Copy the service pack exe installer to folder path c:\Autodesk\sp
- Start the Converter App
- select the 3rd tab named “Old AutoCAD Program Reviver“
- Using the “. . .” button, pick the c:\Autodesk\sp folder
- click “Fix Old Program“.
- Now you can run the service pack exe installer from Windows explorer as normal

A virtual machine is probably the most stable configuration for running such an older version of AutoCAD. To turn this on, click Hyper-V in the Windows Features.
Once you enable this feature and a reboot happens, Simply start up the Hyper-V manager to create a new VM. Of course, you will need to locate a copy of Windows XP to install as the OS.

It appears that it’s just not compatible with Windows 10. The system requirements are here, and it says nothing about being compatible with anything after Windows 7. It says on this Autodesk page that Autocad 2013 and 2014 aren’t supported in Windows 10, so you should assume the same for earlier versions.

Добрый день.
Есть:
1) Старенький пользователь, который не готов учиться новому, а хочет по старинке работать в давно «родном» ему AutoCAD MD 2004;
2) Установочный диск этого самого автокада;
3) Современный ноут (lenovo 110-15ISK) с предустановленной Win10.
Далее проблемы:
1) Упомянутая версия автокада ставится на WinXP (можно на Win2003 Server), но не ставится на «современные» винды (ни 7 не 10ка);
2) Драйверов на старую винду для этого ноута не существует в природе.
Какие видятся пути «решения»:
1) Установить виртуалку, из под неё запустить Win2003 SP1 64, а в ней уже установить автокад. Минус этого решения — сложно для конечного пользователя, ему нужно будет из под штатной винды запускать доп.приложение виртуалки, в которой стартовать вирт.машину, в которой … (по сети между хостом и виртуалкой?)… качать/открывать требуемые доки, иметь гемор с подключением принтеров и прочь. прелести жизни в вирт.машине…
2) Установить какой-нибудь гипервизор, из под него создать установить на автозапуск одну единственную вирт.машину, в которой поднять всё ту же Win2003 SP1 64. Минусы — почти не верю, что получится, потому как драйверов как не было так и нет, на сколько я помню, виртуалка сама по себе умеет эмулировать некоторые вещи, но… не всё же.
3) Установить какой-нибудь linux, в него wine и под ним уже установить/настроить запуск автокада… Люди по форумам пишут, что у них что-то такое получилось, но еще большее кол-во пишет о том, что стабильно работать эта связка не будет + изначально посадить нашего пользователя на линуху — больно, придется портировать всё виндовое окружение, вплоть до блокнота и калькулятора…
Подскажите, пожалуйста, чисто теоретически — какой путь решения данной проблемы Вам кажется наиболее реальным и стабильным в работе?
Возможно я прошел мимо и не заметил существования еще какой-то возможности, поделитесь опытом пожалуйста!
