Description

KoordASIO is a universal ASIO driver, meaning that it is not tied to
specific audio hardware.
You can use it with any audio hardware that doesn’t come with its own drivers,
or where you need features that aren’t available with your bundled ASIO drivers.

KoordASIO is a clone of the powerful FlexASIO project, but with the addition of an
intuitive Control GUI that gives the user an easy way to use all the power of
FlexASIO without any technical knowledge. FlexASIO itself has a wide array of
options, but KoordASIO focuses on simplicity and low-latency configuration,
giving the user the choice of WASAPI Shared Mode (to mix ASIO audio with other
application audio) and WASAPI Exclusive Mode (locks out non-ASIO audio, ensuring
lowest-latency, bit-perfect operation).

Usage

After running the installer, KoordASIO should appear in the ASIO
driver list of any ASIO Host Application (e.g. Ableton, Cubase, Reaper). The Control
GUI (KoordASIOControl.exe) can be launched at any time by clicking on the «ASIO Setup»
button in your host software, or as usual via the Windows launcher.

The default settings are as follows:

WASAPI Shared Mode
Uses the Windows default recording and playback audio devices
32-bit float sample type
32-sample buffer size
Minimum «suggested» latency

The KoordASIO Control GUI lets you select your Input/Output audio devices (with
a link to the relevant Windows control panel), choose between Shared or
Exclusive mode, and to change the Buffer Size in steps between 32 and 2048 samples.

Troubleshooting

Hopefully KoordASIO should work seamlessly out-of-the-box for you. If you do notice
problems, please create an Issue at the Issues page or send an email to

ASIO driver for any WDM sound device

When it comes to working with digital audio on your computer you may encounter problems and inconveniences due to the system’s sound card or to the audio controllers that you use. Each configuration is its own world, but when you detect irregularities in the sound flow you can turn to ASIO4ALL.

The universal ASIO driver for WDM audio.

ASIO4ALL is a WDM audio controller that was created by a user to solve the support problems of his AC97 audio card back in 2003. Nevertheless, over the years this small tool has become the ASIO driver par excellence.

Clicking sounds in audio playback?

To configure how ASIO4ALL works you’ll have to access its dedicated control panel. There you’ll be able to view the audio devices you have installed, modify the size of the ASIO buffer, establish the sample input and output latency compensation, etc.

Once you have configured all the options you’ll be capable of playing audio with minimum latency, something that will allow you to use audio applications fluidly and avoid dead sounds and creaks in the sound provoked by controllers that aren’t suitable for certain tasks.

ASIO4ALL — это универсальный драйвер ASIO передающий аудиопоток от воспроизводящей программы напрямую в драйвер звуковой карты, что позволяет сохранить исходное качество звука и минимизировать задержку, исключив из цепочки обработку и буферизацию звука ОС Windows.

Самое популярное объяснение, для чего применяется драйвер ASIO4ALL гласит, что если вы не знаете, что это такое, значит он вам не нужен. На самом деле аббревиатура ASIO обозначает Audio Stream Input/Output (ввод-вывод потоковых аудиоданных), а принцип работы драйвера достаточно прост: он обеспечивает прямой доступ программ воспроизводящих звук к аппаратным ресурсам аудиокарт. Это позволяет устранить задержку в воспроизведении, которая может достигать 300 миллисекунд и даже более, при передаче данных через стандартный буфер и высокой загрузке операционной системы (для которой воспроизведение звука отнюдь не является главным приоритетом).

Казалось бы, задержка не велика и составляет менее половины секунды, более того, видеопроигрыватели принудительно синхронизируют звук с видеорядом, так зачем городить огород? Именно поэтому в большинстве случаев ASIO4ALL используется при профессиональной записи и сведении звука, когда вступающие инструменты должны слышать себя без малейшей задержки.

Перехватывая звуковой поток, ASIO4ALL даёт возможность вручную настраивать фиксированный размер аудиобуфера, компенсировать задержку на входе и выходе, преобразовывать частоту звука и менять несколько других специализированных настроек. Универсальный драйвер ASIO4ALL фактически является мостом, перехватывающим звуковой поток от программ использующих ASIO и обеспечивая его передачу«бит-в-бит» на вход Windows Audio Session API.

Последняя версия ASIO4ALL которую можно скачать на нашем сайте включает в себя драйвер для 32 и 64 битных операционных систем Windows 10 и более ранних версий.

This is a great product for people looking for an audio driver that is supported on older operating systems, such as Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003/Vista.

Features:

Advanced settings for the more immersive and controllable experience.

A really positive aspect of the driver is that it is free and universal, so it is open access to anyone with Windows operating systems compatible with it that also don’t have the money to pay for apps or more ‘high-tech’ drivers.

Uses Kernel Streaming for high bandwidth and low latency communication for best results.

The title ‘ASIO4ALL‘ is really fitting, since it is absolutely available to anyone who wants or needs to use it. Having a driver that doesn’t support Audio Stream Input/Output can make it difficult to complete your audio tasks and make your computer properly communicate with your computer’s speakers. All laptops and PC’s are going to need some kind of audio driver to help convert the file properly inside the computer to audio that can come out of your speakers. Furthermore, it takes audio files that have been inputted into your device and makes them available for output, like when recording something with an external microphone.

The ability to use multiple external audio devices is something that is unique to only a couple of drivers and can be incredibly useful to people who have a variety of equipment that they want to work within a single sitting. The universal aspect of the driver makes it useful to a number of different people, platforms, and audio devices. ASIO4ALL is a WDM audio driver. It is a free driver. This driver only works with the oldest versions of Windows including 98/Me/2000/XP/2003/Vista.

Currently, a lot of computers are still running on the oldest Windows operating system. It becomes very difficult for them to get the necessary drivers for supporting their computers having older operating systems. Here, ASIO4ALL shines if we are thinking about the audio driver.

ASIO4ALL has kernel-streaming for a faster output. Users can tweak the Input/Output settings for multiple external audio devices. Users also get to tweak many advanced settings for a more immersive and controllable experience.

However, typical users might face difficulties in installing this old driver. In some cases, compatibility issues might arise.
