Overview
Chrome extension for Synology Download Station
Chrome extension which facilitate sending, monitoring and deleting tasks from a synology nas using download station.
It includes a dropdown interface with filtered tabs for displaying and managing download task, as well as a contentscript for allowing quick actions from magnet url links.
The popup support the following functionalities
— Tabbed download tasks display and filtering
— Task pause, play, seed, delete, destination edit
— Task creation through rich form (destination, url, ftp, zip password)
— Http, Https, 2FA login over local network
— Context menu creation (with custom destination)
— Quick action menu creation (with custom destination)
— Local download managment (play, pause, resum, retry, open, etc..)
The content script supports the following functionalities:
— One click download on magnet links
— Quick menu dropdown if more than one exist
— Rich task creation modal on quick action or context menu
— In-page notification for task creation
The service worker supports the following functionalities:
— Periodic task polling
— Custom badge number and text display for filtered tasks (by tabs, status, destination)

Как я уже упоминал в предыдущей части нашего miniВ серии «Первые шаги» компания Synology сказала так, поэтому я так и делаю. В сегодняшнем выпуске мы рассмотрим первое приложение из системы DSM, с которой работают все устройства Synology. Поскольку мы уже знаем, как можно перенести все данные на свое устройство, что, на мой взгляд, совершенно просто, сегодня мы можем показать вам приложение Download Station. Хотя это может показаться не так, в некоторых случаях для корректной работы Download Station вам просто нужно загрузить приложение. nestачи. Лично мне пришлось сделать несколько настроек внутри роутера, но об этом мы поговорим позже.
Установить станцию загрузки
Как и все другие приложения в DSM, вы можете легко загрузить Download Station из предустановленного приложения Package Center. Центр пакетов, можно сказать, это что-то вроде App Store v iOS – проще говоря, здесь вы можете скачать приложения для своей системы. Итак, войдите в свою систему, чтобы установить Download Station. Затем щелкните значок Центра пакетов на рабочем столе. Если вы запустили это приложение впервые, вам необходимо согласиться с условиями использования. Пройдя дальше, просто введите Download Station в поле поиска. После этого просто нажмите на кнопку «Установить» рядом с приложением Download Station, которая имеет значок в виде двух стрелок – одной оранжевой, другой зеленой.
Скачать Управление станцией
После завершения процесса загрузки и установки Download Station на рабочем столе появится значок этого приложения. После этого просто нажмите, чтобы запустить приложение. Среда приложения совершенно проста и интуитивно понятна. Если вы когда-либо работали с подобным клиентом, я на 100% уверен, что проблем с его использованием у вас не возникнет. В остальном я на 100% уверен, что вы быстро к этому привыкнете.
В левой части приложения находится своеобразное меню, в котором вы можете легко отсортировать все файлы, добавленные вами в приложение. Существуют группы «Загружаемые», «Завершенные», «Активные» и другие. Таким образом, вы сможете легко перемещаться между всеми задачами, назначенными вами DSM. В верхней части окна находятся все элементы управления, которые можно применить к задачам. Используя кнопку «+», вы можете легко добавить задачу, открыв файл или используя URL-адрес. В обоих случаях вы можете выбрать, куда сохранить полученный загруженный файл. Кроме того, если загруженная задача состоит из нескольких файлов, вы можетеchat отобразить окно со списком файлов. Затем вы можете выбрать, какие файлы из пакета вы хотите загрузить, а какие нет. Кроме того, конечно же, верхнее меню содержит кнопки для запуска, приостановки, остановки, редактирования и удаления задач.
В левом нижнем углу окна находится шестеренка, с помощью которой можно просматривать настройки. Здесь вы можете задать классические настройки, такие как папка назначения по умолчанию или порядок процессов. Однако вы также можете настроить расширенные параметры, например, изменить порт TCP для BT, maxминимальная скорость загрузки и выгрузки или, например, шифрование протокола.
Добавление первой задачи загрузки
В предыдущих абзацах мы кратко описали пользовательский интерфейс всего приложения Download Station. Теперь перейдем к практике. Добавить задачу загрузки просто. Просто нажмите значок + в верхней части окна и либо загрузите файл, который вы хотите обработать, в Download Station, либо используйте URL-адрес, с которого он будет загружен. Тогда позвониlte местонахождение файла и нажмите «ОК». Synology обработает указанную задачу, и она вскоре появится в списке задач. Затем вы можете отслеживать ход выполнения задачи, скорость загрузки, время выполнения и многое другое. Или ничего не происходит после добавления nestДа, как это было со мной.
Что делать, если загрузка или отправка данных не работает?
К сожалению, в моем случае я оказался в ситуации, когда был вынужден воспользоваться поддержкой Synology. Ей пришлось меня проконсультировать по правильным настройкам роутера. Если вы попали в такую же беду, как и я, то вполне возможно, что эта процедура вам поможет. Короче говоря, вам необходимо включить переадресацию портов на вашем маршрутизаторе. В частности, это порты протокола TCP/UDP, диапазон 16881 (если вы не установили их по-другому).
Чтобы настроить переадресацию портов, войдите в интерфейс маршрутизатора (в случае маршрутизатора ASUS адрес — 192.168.1.1). Затем нажмите WAN в левом меню и перейдите в раздел Переадресация портов в верхнем меню. Здесь внизу укажите имя службы (например, Synology DS), оставьте поле «Исходный объект» пустым и выберите диапазон портов.lte 16881, Локальный IP-адрес — установите IP-адрес Synology (после нажатия на стрелку просто нажмите на имя устройства Synology). Оставьте локальный порт пустым и выберите протоколы.lte ОБА. Затем просто нажмите кнопку «плюс» на колесе. Затем выйдите из настроек маршрутизатора и перезапустите Synology. После этого «шага» должно запуститься приложение Download Station. Если нет, вы все равно можете изменить поле «Коэффициент совместного доступа (%)» на вкладке «BT» настроек Download Station на 1000000. Также убедитесь, что у вас нет активного ограничения скорости загрузки или выгрузки. Если и эта настройка не поможет, у вас нет выбора, кроме как обратиться в службу поддержки клиентов Synology, которая, как и я, всегда готова помочь вам во всем.
Вывод
Лично я не могу не похвалить службу Download Station на моем устройстве Synology. Сервис идеален тем, что мне не обязательно держать включенным компьютер или ноутбук во время загрузки. Я могу просто установить все, что захочу, в любое время.chat скачать и многое другое nestМне интересно, как все пройдет. Весь процесс происходит в фоновом режиме, и когда мне нужны загруженные файлы, я просто вхожу в Synology и перетаскиваю их. Лично у меня никогда не возникало проблем с Download Station, за исключением настройки переадресации портов, что лишь подтверждает тот факт, что Synology создает просто великолепные приложения для своей системы. Более того, пользовательский интерфейс Download Station очень удобен и прост.

Тема автоматизации просмотра видео с торрентов поднималась на хабре много раз (1, 2, 3). Меня не очень устроили решения с использованием Radarr или Sonarr, т.к. я хочу точно знать — раздаётся ли данный фильм прямо сейчас, какое имеет качество и размер файла. Мне так же очень нравится софт от Synology — оптимизированный, простой, но при этом имеющий все необходимые функции. Почти все. А именно, хотелось бы иметь в Download Station возможность искать по моим любимым торрент трекерам.
В общем-то, решение уже было на просторах сети интернет — установить на домашний Synology-сервер Jackett, и подключить его как плагин в Download Station. Проблемы с этим решением две:

Jackett ищет сразу по всем трекерам и выдаёт результат только когда получил всё. Субъективно поиск кажется очень долгим.

Колонка «Сайт» отображается некорректно — везде указан «Jackett». Я же хотел видеть конкретный трекер.
Для решение описанных проблем за вечер был набросан Python-скрипт, который немного модифицирует код оригинального плагина, чтоб поиск происходил только по одному конкретному трекеру. Для каждого трекера — один прокси-плагин, который организует коммуникацию Download Station с данным конкретным трекером через прокси в виде Jackett. Встречайте — Jackett-Indexers.dlm
Установка такая же, как для оригинального плагина — в настройках Download Station добавить новый плагин.
И для каждого плагина нужно ввести пару логин-пароль. Логином является адрес сервера где установлен Jackett. В качестве пароля используется API-ключ от Jackett.
Изначально я не понимал восторгов автора «Смотрим любое кино мгновенно». Jackett мне казался как лишняя нога — ненужный дополнительный шаг. Теперь же он невидим, интегрирован в менеджер загрузки и приносит большую пользу.
Большим дополнительным бенефитом для меня является Android-приложение от Synology для Download Station — DS Get. И плагины поиска торрентов работают. И не важно, сижу ли я за домашним компьютером, подключён ли по удалёнке с работы, или сижу в кафе с мобильника.

Setting a Download Schedule
If you have a Synology NAS, you can easily configure it to download large files for you, allowing you to shut down your PC and let the NAS hum away in the background. Let’s look at how to start and schedule those downloads now.
Why use your NAS to download files? It frees your computer up so you can shut it down when you’re not using it, instead of leaving it on to wait out the downloads (worrying that an automatic update or the like will screw them up). Further, In most situations, your NAS will be on all the time anyway (as most people don’t power down their NAS appliances) and even the beefiest of consumer model Synology NAS units use significantly less power than a desktop computer. Rather than leave your PC running to complete a simple download (or dozens of downloads for that matter) you can, instead, offload the task to your NAS and retrieve the files later. Even better, you can set a schedule so that large files download in the middle of the night—perfect for keeping your connection free and speedy during your waking hours.
The secret sauce in our download scheduling routine is the free and official download management application from Synology, Download Station. The application is included on your NAS by default, but if you’ve removed it at some point, you can jump into the package center (the same place where you update your applications) and search for the app. Download Station supports a wide variety of protocols including widely used protocols such as HTTP, FTP, BitTorrent as well as lesser used file sharing and download protocols like NZBs, Thunder, FlashGet, QQDL, and eMule, and it supports RSS (in case the files you wish to download are announced via RSS feeds).
Configuring Download Station
To launch Download Station you can either select the application in your Synology NAS’s web-based dashboard by clicking on the menu icon and selecting «Download Station», seen below, or you can navigate to
http://[your NAS IP address]/download/
to access it directly.
Upon first launch, you’ll be prompted to specify a download folder. Click «OK» to jump directly to the destination selection menu.
In the «Destination» box, you can either select an existing folder or create a brand new folder. Because none of our existing folders were a good match for our needs, we opted to click on «Create folder» and create a new folder called «downloads». This folder will appear as a sub-directory of your /home/ folder, as seen below. Select it and then click the «Select» button to continue.
With our download folder set, we can now add some files to download.
Adding and Scheduling Files via Download Station
Once you’ve picked a general destination for your downloads, it’s a straightforward affair to populate your download manager with files to download. With Download Station open, simply click on either the «+» symbol or the globe symbol on the far left edge of the navigation bar, seen below. The «+» symbol is for adding downloads to the manager via file (e.g. you have a .torrent file on hand) where as the globe button is for URL-formatted destinations (e.g. you have the http:// or ftp:// address of the file). Let’s add a Linux distro ISO, that old file manager test standby, to our queue now by clicking on the globe icon.
Within the download «Task» menu, you have a few options to attend to. First, you can leave the download directory as the default (in our case
/home/downloads/
) or you can click «Select» and either change the directory or create a new subdirectory if you wish to keep things particularly tidy (such as creating a subdirectory just for Linux ISO files). Next, you need to paste the URL of the file into the «Enter URL» box. If the link is an FTP address and that FTP server requires you authenticate in some fashion, check «Authentication required» so you’ll get an additional prompt where you can input your login. Otherwise, simply click «OK» to continue.
After clicking OK the download will start automatically.
Simply repeat the process with as many files as you wish, and your Synology NAS will chug along, downloading all of them.
Setting a Download Schedule
There are two scheduling layers available to you via the Download Station settings. You can schedule periods of zero downloading activity and you can set time-based restrictions on BitTorrent traffic. To modifidy both schedules, you simply click on the Settings icon in the Disk Station interface, located in the lower left corner.
In the settings menu, under the section BT/HTTP/FTP/NZB, select the subsection «General». In that subsection, toggle «Advanced schedule» on and then click «Schedule Plan».
First, select the type of scheduling you want to do at the top, then click each scheduling square (or click and drag, like you’re painting them in) to select lots of blocks at once. If you use the BT Alternate Speed setting you’ll need to manually specify what speed your upload/download rate is for BitTorrent transfers, otherwise you can stick to using Blue, or the «Default Speed» for On and «No transfers» for Off.
If you want to configure it so there are no transfers during the day (but are transfers between midnight and 6AM), for example, you would select «No Transfers» at the top, then toggle the schedule like so such that downloads could only occur from :
Once you have your schedule set, click «OK». Now your existing and future downloads will, when added outside of the active hours, display a download icon with a clock, as seen below.
As an aside, there is no file-by-file override function for the scheduling (you can’t right click on a paused file and force it to start outside of the active hours) so if you need to rush a file then you will have to hop back into the menu and turn the scheduling off for the duration of that file download.
That’s all there is to it. Thanks to the simple interface of Download Station, you can offload your downloading activity to your Synology NAS so you can turn off your computer, game on it, update it, or otherwise not worry about leaving it on to churn through a download queue.
