Fun Plus and Kings Group brought out an official Windows version of the game available to play mid-June 2022. This gives players a wonderful opportunity to play the game in an official capacity, compared to utilizing PC emulators like BlueStacks or Nox which can be a bit unstable in my experience. The PC version, State of Survival, is now out and ready for you to play!
Currently, the official computer version of SoS is only available to Windows users, unless you have an Apple computer capable of running Windows as well. Here is the website to download the game:

You will be brought to a webpage displaying current promotions the developers are running to encourage players to also try out this version of State of Survival.
After exploring the videos and any running promotions, feel free to click the ‘Download for Windows’ button that is located throughout the website to get started on your journey.
Click on the downloaded file, it will ask for your permission to start the application, press ‘Yes’. From here, your computer will start the basic download process, and it is fairly easy from here on.
User Interface[]
This home screen offers the user several useful functions. Players may view this as a wonderful place to access most things you need regarding; the PC client options, a link to FAQ, current promotions, and the official State of Survival social media links are included.
❖ Let us look closer at what this interface does.
- Access to account center/management, switch accounts, bind your account, and log out.
- Will open a new browser window to the FAQ PC version.
- Settings to change language, auto client start up, minimize option, hot keys, and current client version.
- Official State of Survival social media links.
- Currently, running promotions, click for more information.
Now that you are familiar with the basic user interface of the PC client, the best thing to do is to make sure you have your account bound (if not using an already bound account from your phone), or log into your existing State of Survival account.
How to log into your character from the mobile version[]
If you are not wanting to start fresh with a new settlement, it is thankfully easy to switch your hard work on the mobile game to this PC version. Simply click the grey and white biohazard symbol next to your Guest ID.
Here you can select whichever app you have your account bound to. You will see the typical selection of FunPlus, Facebook, and Google account login. The PC version does add another option to connect with your mobile phone number by clicking the phone shaped green icon next to the Facebook
Note: It is recommended to have your account bound to multiple sources for best account security.
How to bind your account in the PC client[]
To make sure you do not lose access to this new account on PC, you have to bind it to another login you use. Start by going to the account centre/management you see in Figure 8, the same place where you can log into an existing State of Survival account.
Figure 9, shows that you can bind your new PC State of Survival account to either your phone number, Email, Facebook, or Google account.
Difference between mobile and PC client[]
A big difference between the mobile version of the game and the computer version depends on what version you play on the mobile. Personally, I come from Google Play, so switching to
the gem system was a big change for me. Purchases on the PC client require you to first obtain an amount of gems, then use those to make the purchase.
Note: It is a good idea to look at the gem conversion compared to how much a purchase is in the mobile version to make sure you make the best financial decision for yourself.
Program Requirements[]
The PC client takes up very little space on your computer and doesn’t slow performance while running. I, personally, don’t have more than 45.0 MB of memory usage for my setup. Overall smoother performance has also led to myself and at least a few SoS official streamers, to prefer this PC version for Reservoir Raid events, along with other PvP focused events.
❖ According to the State of Survival Player Support Team, the PC version of the game recommends having:

➢ 8 GB Memory
➢ 4G Graphics Card memory
Basic Troubleshooting Steps[]
If you find yourself with this version of the game not opening, freezing, or any other number of issues that can plague PC games from time to time. Do not forget to think of these basic steps many PC gamers have come to consider as tried and true fixers of most issues.
Note: These steps are most appropriate for freezing or game crashing issues, for in game issues themselves repairing the game is the only applicable step listed here before reporting a bug to Customer Service.
❖ Repairing the Game:
➢ This option, similar to a basic fix for the mobile version, is the next step if simply closing and reopening the program is not working.
➢ Once you have performed these steps, the program will close and have you re-enter the game. The next steps will have all updates be reinstalled to your computer, take this time for a little break as your game is taken from the default one to the most up to date.
➢ Hopefully, when you restart your game, your basic issue is solved! If not, read on for more steps.
❖ Another great tool to keep in mind would be utilizing the Task Manager of your PC. You can pull up the Task Manager program several ways, type it into your search bar of the ‘START’ menu or right-clicking the Taskbar then ‘Task Manager,’ are the two fastest methods.
➢ If your game is freezing and non-responsive,using the Task Manager to ‘End Task’ is a quick, effective way to only close the game program, so you may restart it.

The same goes for your Memory allocation. For users with 4GB or less RAM, set this option to Low.

Under Performance Mode, make sure to set this option to Balanced. This will reduce the memory and CPU usage if your PC lags or you otherwise encounter low performance. I prefer to enable the high FPS option and set the frame rate of the emulator according to my screen refresh rate.

In your Display settings, set the display orientation to landscape, and choose a proper resolution to play State of Survival on your monitor. You can also adjust the size of this window by dragging its corners.

While in-game, click on the keyboard icon in your BlueStacks menu bar on the right-hand side. This will allow you to enable and disable the On-Screen Controls option. This will help you figure out which keyboard keys to play State of Survival on your PC.
