Creative Sound Blaster Audigy series driver 2.18.0017

Драйвера для звуковых карт серии Creative Sound Blaster Audigy.

Первая звуковая карта серии Audigy была представлена в 2001 году, своё название она получила от второго имени процессора EMU10K2. Данный процессор представлял собой усовершенствованную версию EMU10K1, использовавшегося в SB Live!. Данная карта аппаратно поддерживала расширение 3D звука EAX 3.0, а также имела 5.1 выходных каналов. К сожалению, не смотря на заявления разработчиков, поддержка 24-битного аудио у карты отсутствовала, так как любой звуковой поток принудительно переводился в формат 16 бит 48 кГц.

В 2002 вышла звуковая карта Sound Blaster Audigy 2, в процессоре (DSP) которой проблемы поддержки 24 бит была устранена. Карта получила поддержку 24 бит 192 кГц и 6.1 (или 7.1) каналов звука. Соотношение сигнал/шум улучшилось со 100 до 106 дБ. Еще через год вышла карта Aufigy 2 ZS, с улучшенным ЦАП и операцоинными усилителями. Это позволило добиться соотношения сигнал/шум в 108 дБ.

Последней в линейке Audigy стала Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro (2004)? в которой также по сути были лишь заменены ЦАП и ОУ.

В дальнейшем, с выходом линейки X-Fi, под брендом Audigy Creative стала выпускать карту Audigy SE, представляющую собой реинкарнацию SB Live! 24.

Fixes:
Enables the DirectSound3D game audio to be processed by your Sound Blaster audio device to deliver EAX effects, 3D audio spatialization, sample rate conversion and hardware audio mixing. Without this, most DirectSound3D games will be reduced to stereo output without any EAX effects.
Improves 3D audio processing for host-based Sound Blaster audio devices.

Notes:
Do not install this application if you do not play DirectSound3D games in Windows 7 or Windows Vista.

Download the ALMY_PCAPP_LB_1_43_27.exe file onto your local hard disk.
Close all other Windows applications.
Double-click the downloaded file.
