Эта программа мне новую хорошую флешку на 64 ГБ снесла. А автор проги, говорит, что такие ситуации случаются редко, но бывают. Даёт советы по решению, которые вообще не помогают. ПК вообще перестал распознавать флешку после использования программы. Ни консоль, ни девайс мэнэджер не смог помочь. Посмотрел кучу советов и гайдов в интернете. Толку ноль!

С 4 версии не поддерживает создание загрузочных флешек на 7 винде. Учитывая, что многие просто тыкают обновления не думая и не читая, разработчики просто выстрелили себе в колено. Это не вина пользователей, это вина разработчиков. Чего стоило оставить поддержку семерки? Или это опять волосатая рука с золотыми часами со стороны M$?

It is my very great pleasure to introduce Rufus (direct downloads here), my own GPL’d version of a bootable USB formatting utility (DOS + ISO).
If you have been using the old HP Utility to create DOS bootable USB, you can throw that old thing away! In a small executable, and with no requirement for an installer, Rufus offers you a much better and up to date interface, with better features, and a DOS creation that doesn’t rely on external files. It can also create bootable USB from ISO images. Plus you will find welcome additional features, such as the ability to check your USB stick for bad blocks.
Best of all, and as you have come to expect from this site, it is 100% Free Software.
Please make sure you check the official Rufus page, and stop looking further when you need a DOS bootable USB stick. Of course, Rufus is compatible with all versions of Windows starting with Windows XP and lets you use the always awesome FreeDOS alongside the rather old and not up to date Windows Millenium DOS.
Why are you doing this?
Well, the truth of the matter is that, after having used the HPUSBFW utility for some time, it turns out that I really can’t stand proprietary software utilities (as well as Windows’ glaring shortcomings), so I decided to create my own Open Source version of an equivalent tool. Also, the fact that the many people, who have taken a stab at creating their own DOS bootable USB formatting utility, decided to go closed source doesn’t really help. Simple utilities should only be Open Source, period.
Some interesting technical details (or yet another annoying technical rant)
You’d think there wouldn’t be much to formatting an USB flash drive for DOS on Windows, but you would be wrong. As I already explained, there’s some reason why Windows doesn’t do it natively. Also, you may be surprised to hear that Windows doesn’t actually provide a public API to format a drive, and instead you have to hijack an undocumented one called FormatEx, and which can be found in fmifs.dll. Then you will find that FormatEx kind of destroys your partition table when you want to use LBA, so you need to fix it manually. There’s also this whole business of allowed cluster sizes. And then there’s all the usual traps, such as having the partition boot records needing to be patched on XP, because unlike Vista or later, it equates an USB Flash drive to a floppy, as well as Windows’ somewhat mysterious handling of Physical Drives vs. Logical Volumes. One will let you access the MBR and the other one the Partition Boot Record, yet, you still need to hold a lock to the latter to be able to access its underlying sectors with the former. Straightforward, it is not.
If you are so inclined, you’ll find Rufus’ FormatThread() in format.c as a good starting point. Oh, and would be quite ungrateful if I didn’t acknowledge other OSS projects, such as ms-sys (boot records handling) or e2fsprogs (bad blocks check) for providing some of the building blocks used by the utility, as well as the talented designers from PC-Unleashed for the Rufus icon.
Finally, for those interested, the acronym stands for «The Reliable USB Formatting Utility, with Source».

- Создание загрузочной флешки DOS, установочных накопителей из ISO образа Windows и Linux
- Высокая скорость работы (по заявлению разработчика, USB с Windows 7 создается в два раза быстрее, чем при использовании Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool от Microsoft
- В том числе и на русском языке

В общем, давайте поглядим, как работает программа.
Примечание: для создания загрузочной флешки UEFI со схемой разделов GPT, производить это нужно в Windows Vista и более поздних версиях операционной системы. В Windows XP возможно создание загрузочного накопителя UEFI с MBR.
Как сделать загрузочную флешку UEFI в Rufus
Скачать последнюю версию Rufus можно бесплатно с официального сайта разработчика https://rufus.ie
Как уже было сказано выше, программа не требует установки: она запустится с интерфейсом на языке операционной системы и главное ее окно выглядит как на картинке ниже.
Все поля к заполнению не требуют особенных пояснений, требуется указать:
- Устройство — будущая загрузочная флешка
- Схема раздела и тип системного интерфейса — в нашем случае GPT с UEFI
- Файловая система и другие параметры форматирования
- В поле «Создать загрузочный диск» кликаем по значку диска и указываем путь к образу ISO, я пробую с оригинальным образом Windows 8.1
- Отметка «Создать расширенную метку и значок устройства» добавляет значок устройства и другую информацию в файл autorun.inf на флешке.
После того, как все параметры указаны, нажимаем кнопку «Старт» и ожидаем, пока программа не подготовит файловую систему и не скопирует файлы на флешку со схемой разделов GPT для UEFI. Могу сказать, что это происходит действительно довольно быстро в сравнении с тем, что приходилось наблюдать при использовании других программ: по ощущениям, скорость примерна равна скорости передачи файлов по USB.

Microsoft has announced that Hyper-V Server 2019 will be the last edition of Hyper-V Server, which will be discontinued in 2029. Therefore, there is no Hyper-V Server 2022 ISO available from Microsoft.

Part 2: Burn ISO File to Bootable USB Using Rufus

To burn the Windows Server 2022 ISO file to a bootable USB using Rufus, follow these simple steps:
- Download Rufus: Visit the Rufus website (https://rufus.ie/) and download the latest version of Rufus compatible with your operating system.
- Obtain the Windows Server 2022 ISO file: Ensure you have the ISO file for Windows Server 2022. You can download it from the Microsoft website or obtain it from a trusted source.
- Connect the USB Drive: Plug in your USB flash drive into an available USB port on your computer. Make sure the USB drive does not contain important data, as it will be formatted during the process.
- Run Rufus: Launch Rufus by double-clicking the downloaded executable file.
- Select the USB Drive: In Rufus, under the «Device» section, select the USB drive you connected from the dropdown menu.
- Choose the Partition Scheme and Target System Type: Under the «Partition Scheme» section, select «MBR» if your computer uses BIOS, or «GPT» if it uses UEFI. For the «Target System» option, select either «BIOS (or UEFI-CSM)» or «UEFI,» depending on your computer’s firmware.
- Select the Windows Server 2022 ISO: Click the «Select» button next to the «Boot Selection» field, then navigate to the location where you saved the Windows Server 2022 ISO file. Select the ISO file and click «Open.»
- Configure Rufus Settings: Leave the other settings in Rufus as default unless you have specific requirements. You may want to change the «Volume Label» field to give your bootable USB a name.
- Start the Process: Once you’ve verified the settings, click the «Start» button to begin. Rufus will display a warning about data loss on the USB drive. Ensure you’ve backed up any important data on the USB drive before proceeding. Click «OK» to continue.
- Wait for the Process to Complete: Rufus will format the USB drive, copy the Windows Server 2022 ISO contents, and make it bootable. This may take a few minutes, so be patient.
- Eject the USB Drive: Once Rufus completes the process, you will see a «READY» message. Safely eject the USB drive from your computer.
Now, you have successfully burned the Windows Server 2022 ISO file onto a bootable USB drive using Rufus. You can use this USB drive to install or boot Windows Server 2022 on a compatible computer.
Part 2-2: Burn Server 2022 to USB Using DiskPart Command (Optional)
Preparations: A USB drive larger than 8GB and the ISO file already downloaded.
Note: Please back up any important data from the USB drive before proceeding, as the process will erase all data on it.
Step 1: Type «cmd» in the search bar, or press Win+X or right-click the Start icon on your computer. Then, select «Run as Administrator» to open the Command Prompt with admin privileges.
Step 2: Type «diskpart» and press Enter, then use the following commands:
• list disk
• select disk x (“x” is the number of the USB drive)
• clean
• create partition primary
• format fs=ntfs quick
• active
• exit
After exiting DiskPart, do not close the Command Prompt window. Next, locate the Windows Server setup ISO file on your computer and double-click it to mount the ISO.
Type the following commands (or copy and paste them) into the Command Prompt, ensuring that you use the correct drive letters, and hit «Enter»:
• xcopy D:\*.* E: /s/e/f (D: is the ISO image drive, and E: is the USB drive letter)
• D:\Boot\Bootsect /NT60 E: /force /mbr
- ★Note:
- You may receive a message such as «File creation error — the parameter is incorrect» or «The install.wim is too large.» This happens due to the FAT32 file system’s limitations. To solve this, you can split the WIM file into smaller files using the following command:
dism /Split-Image /ImageFile:h:\sources\install.wim /SWMFile:r:\sources\install.swm /FileSize:4096.
Part 3: Install Server 2022 from USB
This video demonstrates how to install Windows Server 2022 from a USB drive.
To install Windows Server 2022 from a USB drive, follow these steps:
- Insert the bootable USB: Connect the USB drive containing the Windows Server 2022 installation files to a USB port on the target server.
- Start the server: Power on or restart the server and access its BIOS or UEFI settings. The key to access BIOS/UEFI may vary depending on the manufacturer (common keys include F2, F10, Delete, or Esc). Check the server’s documentation or look for on-screen prompts during boot to find the correct key.
- Configure the boot order: In the BIOS/UEFI settings, navigate to the «Boot» or «Boot Order» section. Set the USB drive as the primary boot device, or prioritize it above other devices. Save changes and exit BIOS/UEFI.
- Start the Windows Server installation: The server will now boot from the USB drive and begin the installation process. Wait for the Windows Setup screen to appear.
- Select language, time, and keyboard options: Choose your preferred language, time format, and keyboard layout. Click «Next» to proceed.
- Click «Install Now»: On the next screen, click the «Install Now» button to begin the installation process.
- Enter the product key: If prompted, enter your Windows Server 2022 product key. Click «Next» to continue. If you don’t have a product key, you can still proceed with a trial version by skipping this step.
- Accept the license terms: Read and accept the license terms by checking the box. Click «Next» to proceed.
- Choose the installation type: Select the type of installation: «Upgrade» (if upgrading from a previous version) or «Custom» (for a clean installation). Choose «Custom» for a fresh installation.
