Windows 10 compatible drivers are being released as tested
By Stephen Pate – Roland/Boss, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of musical equipment, is playing catch-up releasing compatible drivers for Windows 10.
Since Windows 8, device drivers had to be signed as compatible with the latest Microsoft operating systems. Roland is a bit slow testing and releasing their signed drivers.
Here’s the latest list of driver compatibility published this week. For many of us without drivers, the situations is a little frustrating; however, Roland usually get the drivers done within a week or two.
Owners of the A-300PRO, A-500PRO and A-800PRO will be disappointed the control software is not being updated; however, they should work with the host program. I don’t have mine anymore so I can’t say for sure. If anyone has one, please leave a comment.
