Promise Technology IDE controller driver disk v2.00.0.39.

** NOTE** Despite the date on the original diskette stating a copyright of the year 2000, the drivers on the disk are dated 2002-08-22.
This is an image file created using WinImage (.ima format). This creates a duplicate of the entire diskette at the sector level. You may use WinImage to recreate the diskette, or you may also use 7-zip to read & extract the file contents. 7-zip won’t create an exact duplicate of the diskette, while WinImage will. This is of no consequence in this instance, as the diskette isn’t bootable.
There are other applications that can handle .ima files, such as PowerISO and UltraISO. Most people will likely want to use 7-zip over these applications as 7-zip is completely free to use.

Download the driver for the ultra 133 TX2 called «Ultra133 TX2 windows 2.1.0.3 logo driver.rar» dated in 2007 someting or other from the legacy section of promise website. After you extract there will be an amd64 folder — load the driver from there and voila!

I am getting an error on boot when the computer is trying to recognize the controller cards. The error is «Ultra 100tx2 BIOS is not installed because there are no drives attached».
My Specs are: Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2. Two ultra 100tx2 installed on an Asus Proactive AI series A8N-SLI deluxe mobo. I have the hard drives installed to both controller cards. I have done bios flash, and updated the drivers to several different versions to try to make them see the hard drives. My bios version for the ultra cards is 2.20.0.15. In the device manager i can see the cards and they have drivers updated, but in the Disk Management it only shows my main drives that are connected to the motherboard ide ports.

Can’t find any drivers for FastTrak100 TX2 under Windows XP64.
This card is useless on this OS.
