Есть бесплатная версия, а есть несколько платных версий (не пойму чем они, кроме цены, отличаются). Обновления и драйвера шьются на ура. Версия 1.2.0.4680 не корректно работает с windows 10 creators update в части файла ответов.

Do you remember the good old days of Windows XP when you used to customize Windows XP setup ISO using nLite? nLite is one of the best and most popular Windows installation customization software which allows you to remove unwanted components from Windows setup, integrate device drivers, hotfixes and service packs in Windows setup and create unattended and bootable setup ISO of Windows OS so that you don’t need to enter anything while installing Windows in computers.
With the help of nLite, users were able to decrease the size of setup ISO of Windows by deleting unnecessary Windows features and drivers which indirectly used to make installed Windows faster as less services were running in background.
But nLite was only available for Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. The developer also released a separate version of this software called “vLite” to customize Windows Vista setup ISO.

Unfortunately the developer stopped developing nLite and it was never updated to include support for Windows 7 and later versions of Windows OS. In the meantime a few other freeware such as 7Customizer were released by some people to customize Windows 7 setup ISO which provided similar features as nLite.
Now its time to share some good news! “nuhi”, the developer of nLite and vLite, has started working on a special version of nLite again. He is developing a new tool NTLite which supports Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.
With the help of this new tool, users can customize Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 setup ISO to remove unwanted components, slipstream service packs, updates and drivers, include Registry tweaks, create unattended and bootable ISO and much more.

NTLite in an easy-to-use graphical interface allows the user to remove unnecessary components from Windows (e.g. MSN Explorer, Messenger, etc.) before installing the operating system. You can add the necessary drivers and favorite programs to the created distribution kit — all of them will be installed automatically during Windows installation. You can also change a lot of settings and tweets during the creation phase of the system. Experienced users will be able to add several commands to the distribution, which will be executed automatically.
The created distribution can be directly written to the disk or saved on the computer as an image. At all stages of work NTLite behaves very correctly, all options are conveniently divided into several windows. And all the work is essentially to tick or uncheck the boxes, and NTLite will always comment on your actions in detail and suggest the right solutions.
NTLite (nLite) significantly simplifies the process of customizing and optimizing a Windows installation by removing unnecessary components and automating installations.
How to use NTLite
To get started, you need to insert a disk with the original Windows distribution into the drive and specify the program folder where the working files will be stored. Once nLite has copied the required files into this folder, the drive can be ejected — it will no longer be needed;
Layout, if necessary, you can integrate Service Pack and all kinds of updates (such as security updates) into the distribution or skip these steps. (Service Pack and update files to be added must be on the hard drive);
Next you will be able to remove the Windows components. All the modules included in the system will be divided into groups and categories, and the critical modules required for the system will be marked in red (read the descriptions of the components carefully so as not to accidentally delete anything important);
Next, you can add drivers and some programs to the distribution, change the mass of various settings and system tweaks. You can immediately enter the serial number, correct regional settings, etc. to create Windows that installs automatically without user intervention;
The final step is to build all the files and changes to nLite into a solid distribution that can be immediately burned to CD/DVD or saved to the hard disk as an image.

The website for this product seems a little unrefined. Some nicer color palettes would increase my trust in the product. It would also be useful to have a list of instructions rather than paragraphs, it would make the product easier to use. The product itself seems useful, I myself have many programs preinstalled on my OS that I generally do not use. It would be great to have software that would reduce the clutter on my computer

I have been using NTLite (nLite) for some time now and the software is great. It is very easy to use and understand, and the user interface is intuitive. It has a lot of features that you can use to customize your Windows installation, such as driver integration, updates, and service packs. It also allows you to remove unwanted components from your Windows installation. I also like the fact that you can create a bootable ISO image with NTLite. I have used NTLite (nLite) for several of my projects and have found it really helpful. It is an easy to use software and provides a great user experience. It is also quite fast and allows for customizing existing Windows installs with ease. I appreciate the fact that it has an intuitive user interface and does not require any extra steps to integrate updates and drivers. However, I have found that sometimes it fails to detect some of the features.

Для того чтобы упростить жизнь с детьми люди придумали подгузники, одноразовые пеленки и многое другое, а вот в мире программ придумали бесплатную утилиту nLite.
Работа nLite заключается в редактировании дистрибутива windows. С ее помощью вы легко сможете интегрировать сервис-паки, удалять ненужные компоненты, сразу вписывать регистрационную информацию и устанавливать сетевые настройки. Кроме этого, есть возможность добавить драйвера и последние обновления и настройки. Результатом работы nLite будет готовый загрузочный образ диска в формате ISO.
По сути, с nLite вы создаете собственный эксклюзивный дистрибутив, который идеально подходит для вашей системы. Потратив некоторое время на его создание, вы действительно сможете откинутся на заднюю спинку вашего кресла ;-), и слегка вздремнуть. Когда же вы откроете глаза, перед вами будет уже установленная и настроенная windows.
Все вышеперечисленное годится для windows XP/2000, пользователям Vista нужна другая утилита — vLite, но о ней напишу в другой раз.
