- Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run window.
- Type %localappdata% in the search box and press Enter.
- In the next window, go to 2K Games\Mafia II\Saves.
- Find the videoconfig.cfg file and delete it.
- Now, launch your game again.
- Note that this step needs to be repeated every time before you launch your game.
Solution 9. Run the Mafia 2 as an administrator.
