Игра Windows 3D Pinball Space Cadet (Windows 3D Pinball), более известная пользователям нашей страны под названием «Пинбол». Незатейливая, но такая увлекательная игра была разработана в 1996 году небезызвестной компанией Maxis (пользователям должна быть известна в первую очередь по серии градостроительных симуляторов «Sim City») и входила в официальный пакет Windows 95.
Игрушка была популярна наряду с незабвенным пасьянсом «Солитер» (Solitaire в нерусифицированных версиях Windows) и «Сапер» (Minesweeper). К сожалению, легенды тоже уходят на покой – в Windows Vista и более поздних версиях пакет привычных игр перестал предоставляться.
Тем не менее, на радость ностальгирующим, портатировать легендарную «убивалку времени» можно и на Windows 10, даже несмотря на то, что оригинальный дистрибутив уже давно недоступен.

Для загрузки программы-установщика нажмите синюю кнопку «Download Now».
Вас перебросит на новую страницу, а на жесткий диск скачается .exe-файл размером в 1.33 Мб. Файл не содержит вирусов, по крайней мере, мой платный антивирус сообщил, что файл безопасен.
Далее стандартно распаковываем архив и нажимает кнопку «Install», не забыв предварительно выбрать папку, куда будет устанавливаться игра. По умолчанию это папка C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Pinball
Секунда – и игра будет установлена на машину, о чем оповестит свернувшееся окно и появившийся ярлык на Рабочем столе. Можно играть и вновь показывать чудеса в Windows 3D Pinball, смахивая скупую ностальгическую слезу с щеки.
Как ощущается игра 1996 года в 2020 году?
По сравнению с современными аналогичными играми для ПК классическая аркада от Maxis немного медлительна, но вполне играбельна и не нарушает общего ощущения от игры. Именно того, каким оно было 15-20 лет назад.
Играть, честно признаюсь, в нее не так просто, как это было в прошлом. После опробования симулятора (3D-игру позиционировали именно как симулятор настольной игры) в течение 10 минут максимальный набранный счет оказался немногим более 500 тысяч очков. При том, что максимально набранное количество очков составляет сегодня 419 157 150 баллов. Как говорится, есть к чему стремиться.
Поэтому «поубивать» время и вспомнить прошлое можно! Для 2020 года симулятор считайте, что не устарел.

Many of us who were born in the 80s and grew up at the same time as personal computers, consoles, and the Internet evolved, used to spend hours and hours playing a simple pinball game that came installed on Windows 95 and later on Windows XP that was a great success: Full Tilt! Pinball. This game included at the time three different pinball tables: Skulduggery, Dragon’s Keep, and Space Cadet.

The latter is by far the most popular of the three and the most remembered, and with Pinball Star, you will be able to play it again on your current operating system. The table is aesthetically identical, with the same space elements and functionality. However, it includes some improvements, such as these:

- It lets you customize the game’s controls to move the pinball paddles or hit the table from either side from the keyboard keys you prefer.
