1. Press WIN + X keyboard keys and click on RUN.

3. In the folder, you need to delete all the content available in the folder.
4. After that, launch elevated Command Prompt. For that, type CMD in the Start menu search bar and when it appears in the search results. Make a right click on it and Run as Administrator.
5. In CMD window type: wuauclt.exe /updatenow and press Enter.
6. Reboot your PC and restart the upgrade process.
4. Run Windows 10 Media Creation Tool

1. Download the Microsoft tool named as Windows 10 Media Creation tool.
2. After that let the tool download the update and validate the download.

Have tried over 20 times to install Windows 10. The problem is I get «Modern Setup Host has stopped» error and it closes the update. I have turned everything off in StartUp, I downloaded Tweaking.com Windows Repair Tool and ran through all the steps to bring back to default all settings. When this error occurs I have checked Task Manager and see that it is still listed, but all activity has stopped.
Other forums have suggested:

Question: If I wanted to install a new clean drive (c:) in my system and install a clean version of Win10 on it, would I be able to still access my programs on the old C: (now D: drive). I know the files would be accessible, but could I also run the programs without reinstalling them in the new drive?

I uninstalled the program and ran the iso — it was at «making sure you’re Ready» for a long time and there was the most CPU activity that I’ve seen yet (about 20%) then… Modern Stopped.
I’m going to reboot and try one more time. It was encouraging that it stayed alive for so long!

In this method, we will need to do some system changes, including disabling services not related to Microsoft, disabling startup programs and changing regional Windows settings.
