I have been bothered by this same Photoshop error 22 when trying to use the Photomerge feature or any other of the Automate features in CS5.
My computer is a Windows 7 32bit machine but this should definitely apply to Windows 64bit machines and possibly the same logic may apply to Mac but I do not know.
I didnt find a permanent solution but I did find a temporary fix which will at least allow you to use the function for one opening of the program however if you close and reopen photoshop the problem returns.
Temporary Fix Instructions:
1. Locate the file «Adobe Photoshop CS5 Prefs.psp» on your computer and delete it or move it elsewhere. (I assume by doing this you may lose ass of your photoshop preferences but it will allow you to use photomerge and HDR so you choose)
2. On Windows this file can be found in the User folder under C:\**USER NAME**\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Adobe Photoshop CS5 Settings\ (Replace **USER NAME** with the Windows 7 account user name)
3. After deleting this file or temporarily moving it out of that folder you can then open Photoshop CS5 and use the Photomerge feature as much as you’d like.
4. As soon as you close Photoshop CS5 the program automatically makes a new Adobe Photoshop CS5 Prefs.psp file so when you try to reopen the program it will not work again.
I hope this may be helpful to some people and I hope that Adobe can fix this issue, I have not and dont plan on submitting this as a bug report to Adobe, being that I do not personally own the program (still in 30 day trial) but anyone who would like to, please feel free to do so.
UPDATE: HOW TO MAKE THIS FIX PERMANENT
If you would like to transform this fix into a permanent one you can do the following:
1. Open folder: C:\**USER NAME**\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Adobe Photoshop CS5 Settings\
2. Delete the «Adobe Photoshop CS5 Prefs.psp» file
3. Open Photoshop CS5. DO NOT CLOSE IT.
4. Switch back to your window showing that folder from step 1 and now you should see a new «Adobe Photoshop CS5 Prefs.psp» but it will have a file size of 0kb because Adobe doesnt write to the file until you close the program.
5. Right-click on the file Adobe Photoshop CS5 Prefs.psp and click «Properties» and mark it as «Read Only».
6. Now you should be able to open and close Photoshop CS5 as many times as you’d wish and the Photomerge feature will still work, but you also will probably not be saving any «Photoshop Preferences» if you want to customize the program. I dont know which preferences are saved in that file but at the very least you can have all of the default Photoshop CS5 setting and Photomerge features working whenever you want without a hassle each time.

Hello Friends,
Before buying the licensed Photoshop version, I thought of trying it. Therefore, I downloaded the trial version from the website. The download and installation went pretty well and good without any problem. However, the problem triggered when I try to create a new window object, I tried in three different methods. I have attached the error image please do check it. I am getting error for all three methods. Can anyone help me? Thanks.
Error 22: Window does not have a constructor. Line: 388 ->Var w = new Window(res);

This is a simple problem in the preferences of the Photoshop. To fix this problem:
1. Locate the Adobe Photoshop Prefs.psp. Probably in the C:/Doccuments and Settings/**Username**/App Data/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop **version**/Adobe Photoshop **version** Settings/
(The **Username** is the name of the account user. The **version** is the version of photoshop i.e. «CS5»)
2. Remove or delete the said file from the folder.
3. Run the program normally.
However this is a temporary solution. The Prefs.psp file is automatically created everytime you exit photoshop and will cause the same error. If you would like here’s another solution:
For windows: Hold down Shift + Ctrl + Alt Everytime you start Photoshop to reset the preferences.
For Mac: Hold Down Shif + Command + Option for the same effect.
Error 22 Window does not have a constructor
When using Adobe Photoshop Creative Suite, there might be an instance where it throws an error saying “Error 22: Windows does not have a constructor”. You may get this error when you attempt to run a script using the “Load Files into Stack” option. Many users have been bothered by this error and there is no exact solution from Adobe support on how to exactly fix it.
Here is one that might work. First, create a separate folder of screencaps for every GIF file you will create. You need to do this because this method doesn’t allow you to select particular files. It will only allow you to select a folder and load whatever is inside. To begin, in Photoshop, click “File”, “Scripts”, and select “Load Multiple DICOM Files”.
After this, it will ask you to select a folder. Here, select the folder that contains the screencaps you want to load and click OK.
And that’s it. It has the same result of having your caps loaded as when using “Load Files into Stack”. See if this applies to you.
Помогите. Проблема с обработкой HDR
Ситуация следующая:
Имеется CS5 portable установленный на ноуте. При попытке создания HDR(файл-автоматизация-объединить в HDR) выдает ошибку 22 Window не имеет конструктора. Линия 388.
Если кто встречался с такой проблемой подскажите пути решения пожалуйста

Чтобы такое больше не писать, зайдите на сайт Адобе и поинтересуйтесь, какие версии бывают.Сомнения пропадут.Даже смутные…..Удачи!

программы требующие установки прописываются в реестр операционной системы и устанавливаются на машинку с помощью файла setup.exe если Вы не в курсе, то версии portable носятся на флешке и на машинку не инсталируются

вы забыли дописать «и скачиваются бесплатно»
Эта версия браузера больше не поддерживается. Установите поддерживаемую версию браузера.
