An AutoCAD 2017 Model Documentation Hotfix has been released. Get it and ready about it here. The download is 143 MB. Not available via Autodesk Desktop App and Autodesk Account.
This Hotfix resolves multiple issues when using views in conjunction with the model documentation feature.
This Hotfix applies to the following: All publicly released 64-bit versions of Autodesk AutoCAD 2017 and Autodesk AutoCAD 2017-based vertical products.
When installed it shows up with version 21.0.451.0 among installed updates in Windows.

- Обновление Autodesk AutoCAD 2016 для поддержки объектной привязки в координационной модели (Autodesk AutoCAD 2016 Coordination Model Osnap Support)
Это обновление позволяет задавать точное местоположение на вставленной координационной модели с помощью стандартных объектных 2D-привязок к конечной точке или центру. Если в качестве текущей объектной привязки используется конечная или центральная точка, то при наведении курсора на соответствующие области вставленной координационной модели отобразится маркер и подсказка.
Также добавлена системная переменная CMOSNAP для управления объектной привязкой в координационных моделях (0 — объектная привязка геометрии любой координационной модели, вставленной в чертеж, запрещена, 1 — объектная привязка геометрии любой координационной модели, вставленной в чертеж, разрешена).

- Исправление Autodesk® AutoCAD® 2016 для VLX (Autodesk AutoCAD 2016 VLX Hotfix)
Это исправление предназначено для решения проблем с подписанными файлами VLX, содержащими диалоги DCL.

Для установки просто замените файл vl.crx в папке установки (например, C:\Program
Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2016) файлом vl.crx из скачанного архива. Правильный файл должен версии 20.1.49.2 (проверить можно в свойствах файла).

Данное исправление устраняет следующие проблемы.
— Проблема отображения палитры канала проекта, диалогового окна «Географическое положение», окна справки и начальной страницы в операционной системе Windows 8.1 при высоком разрешении
— Проблема производительности, связанная с работой команды «Публиковать»
— Проблема печати, при которой текст, отформатированный справа налево, печатался в перевернутом виде

This hotfix fixes Model Documentation and IMPORT command related issues on 64 bit Windows® 8.1.
Description of Problem
The following operations are not possible on 64 bit versions of Windows® 8.1.
Creation of model documentation drawing views
Import of the following file formats:

IMPORTANT: Note that this hotfix applies only to 64 bit versions of Windows® 8.1. There is no need to apply this hot fix if you are running AutoCAD 2014 on any other operating systems.

To install this Hotfix
NOTE: You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft® Windows® operating system to complete the installation process.
This installation process requires you to modify an installed product, which may cause Windows security warnings to appear. For all Windows security warnings that appear during installation, click Continue.
Download AutoCAD 2014 Model Documentation_Windows 8.1 Hotfix (64bit).zip.
Close AutoCAD 2014.
Navigate to the folder corresponding to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2014\Inventor Server\bin on your computer.
Right-click rse.dll and click Properties.
Click the details tab and verify the file vesrion.
If the version number is 18.0.15100.0, proceed with installation.
If the version number is 18.0.15100.2 or greater, this hotfix has already been applied and you do not need to proceed with the installation..
Right-click rse.dll and rename it as old_rse.dll.
Extract the downloaded zip file AutoCAD 2014 Model Documentation_Windows 8.1 Hotfix (64bit).zip to the location specified in step 3.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 and verify that the file version is 18.0.15100.2 .
To remove this Hotfix
Close AutoCAD 2014.
Navigate to the folder corresponding to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2014\Inventor Server\bin on your computer.
Right-click rse.dll and rename it as Bak_rse.dll.
Right-click old_rse.dll and rename it as rse.dll
