1. CLiP License not found Windows 10

   Hi
   I’ve recently encountered this error while trying to open any .png .jpg .gif .mp4
   Only .MP3 .ogg .wav files seems to work
   The Message Appearing is always CLiP License Not Found, no matter where I try to open it from,

   I’ve tried multiple option that I read from other Thread,
   Verifying if windows is up to date, it is
   I have also tried reinstalling the Photo app using powershell and the following command :
   get-appxpackage *Microsoft.Windows.Photos* remove-appxpackage
   and then going in the micosoft store and reinstall it
   but now I am unable to reinstal the app and I get this

   Code: 0xC0EA0002

   which will lead to this

   6618,3236560898,0xC0EA0002,UserModeLicensing,ERROR_CLIP_LICENSE_NOT_FOUND,»CLiP license not found.»

   and this is the same error I started with​

   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

   

2. Windows 10 upgrade license

   Hello guys,

   I have 1 license of WIndows 8.1 FPP/retail license. I want to upgrade to WIndows 10, but I one thing is unclear to me.
   If I upgrade, will WIndows 10 license be retail or it will «turn» into some sort of OEM license?

   I ask this because I upgrade my PC, you know, more memory, replace HDD, and I intend to upgrade the MB and CPU to Kaby Lake platform sometime in the future, (and of course sell the replaced hardware)
   This thing is not clearly mentioned anywhere.

   Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

   Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

   • Open a new Explorer window.
   • Click View in the ribbon.
   • Click Options.
   • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
   • Click OK

4. CLiP License not found Windows 10

   Windows 10 upgrade license

   The interesting question is that: the upgrade takes place before 29 of July. If I upgrade the PC (change the MB), and I transfer the Win 8.1 license to this new PC (cause 8.1 is retail FPP), will I be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free? Or a upgrade license must be bought?

   New PC with Windows 11 Home preinstalled. Downloaded a couple of games with Game Pass,and now when I try to play a game from the game pass I get a prompt saying

   «CLiP license id does not match the device in the bound device license»

   I signed out of windows stores and game pass, rebooted windows, did windows updates, and did the WSReset.exe from the Run dialog.

   still get the same error.

   This can happen when you switch devices or change regions.

   To resolve this issue, you will need to contact Xbox Support. They will be able to assist you in updating the device ID on your license so that it matches the device ID on your new device.

   Scroll down the page and click on Contact Support.

5. CLiP license id does not match the device in the bound device license

   I don’t get an error code accept for «an error occurred on our end» and a manual install also does not work.

   Also is their three packages for the minecraft launcher?

   One that is for both java edition and inecragt for Windows

   The second java edition

   The third minecraft for windows.

   I did eventually get a version to work since the old launcher redirected me to the new launcher which I installed and did let me install minecraft for windows version.

   However the store version which downloads java edition and something else never worked.

   Not by reseting not by uninstalling and reinstalling not by downloading from the minecraft website and manually downloading.

   — Have you tried resetting the Microsoft Store app by going to Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Microsoft Store > Advanced options > Reset?

   Possible reason is that there may be some conflicts with your antivirus or firewall software. You can try temporarily disabling these programs and see if that helps. You can also add Minecraft for Windows and the Microsoft Store app to the exceptions list of your antivirus or firewall.
