Uninstall WhatsApp using Settings from Windows 10/11

Step 1: Open the Settings app either by clicking its icon on the Start menu or simultaneously pressing the Windows logo and I keys.

Step 2: Once the Settings app is launched, go to Apps > Apps & features page (Windows 10) or Apps > Installed apps page (Windows 11).

Step 3: Look for the entry named WhatsApp. On a Windows 10 PC, click on the entry to reveal the Uninstall button. Click Uninstall. On Windows 11, click the three dots next to WhatsApp and then click the Uninstall option.

Step 4: Click the Uninstall button again when you see the confirmation dialog to remove WhatsApp from your Windows 10 PC.

Method 2 of 2

Remove WhatsApp using the Control Panel

Step 1: Open Control Panel by typing Control Panel in the Start menu or taskbar search box.

Step 2: Once the Control Panel is launched, change the View by to Small icons, and then click Programs and Features.

Step 3: Here, locate the WhatsApp entry, right-click on it, and then click the Uninstall option to remove WhatsApp from your Windows 10 PC. As simple as that!

Пример PowerShell-скрипта для полного удаления WhatsApp с компьютера на Windows. Скрипт будет выполнять следующие шаги:

Завершать процесс WhatsApp, если он активен.
Удалять файлы приложения (включая папку установки).
Удалять временные данные и конфигурацию из профиля пользователя.

Через process explorer посмотрите, где лежит этот файл. Загрузите его на virus total.

Смотрел, больше десятка runtimebroker.exe, один из них запускает whatsapp
Пытался через Process Explorer и Process Hacker разобраться с этим runtimebroker.exe, так и не нашёл откуда у него ноги растут.
Total Commander с фильтром *whatsapp* не находит ничего, я без понятия, что подсунуть virustotal.
runtimebroker.exe нормально подписан, Др.ВЕБ ничего о нем не говорит.
Если верить сети, то *whatsapp* файла может у меня не быть, сам виндоус подкачивает его при подключении к сети и whatsapp это может быть всего лишь экранное имя. Для примера приводят иврит-русский-иврит словарь ИРИС, у которого нет файла *iris*, но в task manager есть такой.

У меня купленный Др.ВЕБ с постоянными обновлениями, запускал полное сканирование, ничего не нашлось.
Знать бы имя файла, я выслал бы им вирлаб, если им выслать всё, что они просят, то они всегда отвечают очень быстро и 24/7.
Один момент есть, не знаю как работает Total Commander, как он сканирует запрещенные папки, у виндоус таких много.
Возможно, whatsapp в одной из них. Попробую загрузить линукс и поискать.
Если получится победить, обязательно напишу.
