В связи с онлайн обучением и развитием видеоконференций потребность народа в компах выросла настолько, что в дело идут довольно таки слабые компы с Windows XP, которые ещё и удалённо не проапгрейдишь… Поэтому я вот тут нашёл методом проб и ошибок:
Для Windows XP на сайте Zoom.us есть специальный установщик.
Однако на части систем он НЕ устанавливается без видимой причины и внятных сообщений об ошибках.
Поэтому:
Алгоритм для Windows XP x86/x64 версий SP2/SP3 на 2020-04-12: 1. Скачать ВОТ ЭТУ версию: http://large.d3.gfns.net/files/SOFT/INET/ZOOM.US/ZoomInstallerXP.exe 2. Запустить этот екзешник 3. При установке МОГУТ вылазить сообщения об ошибках - ЗАКРЫВАТЬ их однократным нажатием на крестик. 4. Залогиниться в аккаунт (зареганный на сайте предварительно или через Гугль) 5. НЕ пытаться звонить и НЕ соглашаться принимать звонки! 6. Дождаться запроса на предложение "Обновить версию" - и СОГЛАСИТЬСЯ на это. 7. МОГУТ вылазить сообщения об ошибках - ЗАКРЫВАТЬ их однократным нажатием на крестик. 8. После перезапуска когда он заново залогинился - МОЖНО звонить и вообще всё работает.
Если вас после этого приглашают в видеоконференцию скачиванием екзешника — то вам придётся узнать ID этой концеренции и ввести его вручную в установленную версию Зума. Скачанный екзешник ЛУЧШЕ НЕ запускать, хехе.

Yes, officially Windows XP has been stated as not supported for quite some time. Note however if you attempt to join a meeting using an XP device, Zoom will offer to download a client installer for v. 5.0.5 as a file named ‘ZoomInstallerXP.’ And if you download it, it will install. And you can use it to enter a test meeting (at https://www.zoom.us/test). That is all true as of the date of this reply. One might well wonder why this would be all be the case if Zoom had entirely abandoned XP way-back-when.
Mid July, 2022 I used an XP SP3 device + 5.0.5 to successfully join a Zoom meeting. However in joining a meeting earlier today (early October, 2022) using XP + 5.0.5 I had no audio (despite the menu option ‘Test speaker and microphone’ incorrectly confirming that audio was functioning correctly). Also, after about 2 minutes, I was thrown out of the meeting and received the message ‘Network connection failure. Please check your network and try again’ (even though my wired network connection was rock-solid). These two issues replicated & persisted.
My interpretation of all these events is that (1) Zoom had been continuing to allow for use by XP devices ‘on the down-low,’ while skirting any official support to XP users and (2) these two issues (that apparently emerged mid-August 2022) are XP-specific and Zoom, given its current market situation, has decided not to devote any more resources to coding server-side XP workarounds. So, practically speaking, no more Zoom under XP. They ought to at least take the time to delete the ZoomInstallerXP offer … and have Zoom return messages like ‘Zoom will not run under your OS» instead of letting you actually enter meetings.
You CAN enter a Zoom meeting under XP using the 360 Extreme Explorer browser, v. 13. First you have to cancel-out of pop-up offers to download ZoomInstallerXP (that would simply reinstall 5.0.5) and also to launch the Zoom client. Then there will be a link stating «Having issues with Zoom Client? Join from Your Browser.» Click that link and, after a slight delay, you will be able to access the meeting with audio & video. But it will consume nearly 100% of system resources and will bog XP down so much as to make it – and your presence in the meeting — non-functional.
If you have Microsoft Windows XP, Vista or 7, you need to update to the latest Service Pack and certain updates in order to get Transport Layer Services (TLS) version 1.1 and 1.2 enabled so you can use Zoom and other video conference services. Follow the steps to enable these services.
September update: I inadvertently deleted the reg files from the server during the last server move, so I’ve just reinstated them.
Note: Machines running Windows XP and Vista are seriously old hardware that may not be up to the task of running Zoom. Windows XP came out in 2001 and ceased to be sold in 2007 with Windows Vista coming out in 2007 and being replaced by Windows 7 in 2009.
It would be better to replace these computers with either a late Windows 7 equipped with a solid state drive (capable of running Windows 10) or buy a new computer that runs Windows 10.
Identifying your Windows version
Press the Windows key (the one with the flag on it) and R to open Run. Enter cmd and press OK.
Now type: set pro
If you see ProgramFiles(x86) you have a 64 bit system, if you don’t you have a 32 bit system. Write down which one you have, as you will need it later.
Now type: winver
winver tells you what Windows version you are running, in the above picture it shows Windows Vista Home Premium.You can also see Version 6.0 (Build 6000)
Windows XP
Although Microsoft stopped supporting Windows XP long ago, there is a way to install TLS 1.1 and 1.2 on XP.
You need to have Service Pack 3 installed in order for this to work, so if you don’t have this, download and install it first.
Download this registry patch, which enables POS Ready and allows XP to use TLS 1.1 and 1.2. You need to save the file and double click where you save it, then restart the computer when done.
Now go to the steps at the bottom of the page to enable TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 in Control Panel
Windows Vista
Service Packs are Microsoft’s method of installing a huge number of updates in one go.
If your computer doesn’t mention Service packs installed, you need to install Service Pack 1 (includes both 32 bit and 64 bit versions)
You must have Service Pack 1 installed before you can install Service Pack 2 (32 bit /64 bit)
Download the 2018-05 Update for Server 2008 (32 bit /64 bit)
Download this registry patch to enable support for TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2. Double click and install this registry patch on your computer once you have downloaded it to your downloads area.
Restart your computer to enable support for TLS 1.1 and 1.2.
Now go to the steps at the bottom of the page to enable TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 in Control Panel
Windows 7
If you have Windows 7, you need to install the Service Pack 1 (includes 32 bit and 64 bit versions) and 2015 Servicing Stack update (32 bit / 64 bit) and finally the Convenience Rollup (32 bit / 64 bit)
Download this registry patch to enable support for TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2. Double click and install this registry patch on your computer once you have downloaded it to your downloads area.
Restart your computer to enable support for TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2.
Now go to the steps at the bottom of the page to enable TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 in Control Panel
Windows 8 & Windows 10
As of Windows 8, TLS 1.1 and 1.2 are enabled by default, so you don’t need to change anything.
Enable TLS 1.1 and 1.2 in Control Panel
Press Windows key and R and type cmd
Type inetcpl.cpl
This will open the Internet Options Control Panel applet directly.
Click on the Advanced tab and scroll (click on the grey bar on the right hand side, pull the mouse down and let go) to the bottom.
If all has gone well, you will see Use TLS1.1 and Use TLS 1.2, check both these boxes and uncheck Use SSLv3.

Zoom скачать бесплатно для windows
Для установки приложения Zoom на функционирующий под управлением Windows компьютер или ноутбук потребуется выполнить всего три шага, после чего вы сможете сразу же перейти к авторизации или регистрации в сервисе и последующей организации видеоконференций.
- Первое, что нужно сделать на пути к получению Zoom на ПК – это загрузить дистрибутив десктопного клиента системы:
- Откройте официальный сайт сервиса Зум, пролистайте веб-страницу в самый низ
и кликните «Клиент конференций» в озаглавленной «Загрузить» категории предлагаемых ресурсом возможностей.
Либо просто перейдите по следующей ссылке через любой браузер на ПК.
- На открывшейся странице щёлкните по кнопке «Загрузить» в области «Клиент Zoom для конференций».
- При необходимости укажите путь сохранения инсталлятора Зум на диске ПК/ноутбука
и затем ожидайте его скачивания.

- Откройте официальный сайт сервиса Зум, пролистайте веб-страницу в самый низ
- Запустите полученный в результате выполнения предыдущего пункта инструкции файл ZoomInstaller.exe.
- Подождите буквально несколько секунд – установщик десктопного Зум автоматически скопирует необходимые для работы файлы на диск компьютера.
- Далее вы можете авторизоваться в системе облачных конференций и приступать к работе или закрыть приветственное окно Zoom – на этом его установка завершена.
