I want to disable UPnP because the port are being open without my notice. My modem does not allow disabling UPnP.
When I search on Google, it just give me tutorial how to disable Network discovery. That’s not what i want, because i use it. I want to disable UPnP on Windows so that it doesn’t open the ports like IP cameras have option to disable UPnP.

I would suggest that you change the settings in the Firewall to allow Network discovery so that the Firewall stays On while allowing the Network discovery to be enabled.
Follow the steps.

c. Click on Windows Firewall.
d. Click on Allow programs or feature through Firewall.
e. Scroll the list and check Network Discovery.

Что такое UPnP
Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) – это протокол, который позволяет подключать устройства по принципу «подключил и забыл». Он создан для того, чтобы упростить взаимодействие с любыми устройствами. Технология UPnP упростить ваше взаимодействие со всеми внешними и сетевыми устройствами.
Например, в случае с роутерами, данные протокол отвечает за переадресацию портов. Служба сама проверяет то, какая программа или устройство с кем в сети хочет соединиться. Ответы от той программы также автоматически пересылаются сразу в конечную точку, не требуя от пользователя самостоятельного открытия портов и настройки их переадресации.
Для чего нужен
Эта служба применяется в компьютерах и маршрутизаторах для выполнения различных полезных функций:
- Обнаружение устройств. Используется для построения списка устройств и подключения к ним.
- Автоматическая настройка сетевых параметров. Служба помогает автоматически проводить настройку IP-адреса, а также других сетевых параметров.
- Обмен медиаконтентом. Технология используется для обмена файлами, просмотра потоковых видео, используется в сетевых играх и так далее. Используется как часть DLNA сервера, для построения внутренней сети по обмену контентом.
- Удаленный доступ. Поддерживает удаленный доступ к устройствам, неважно, подключаетесь вы из соседней комнаты или из другого города.
- Управление сетью. Позволяет проводить настройку маршрутизатора и других сетевых устройств, а также используется для проверки статуса и состояния различных устройств.
Плюсы и минусы использования
Технология используется повсеместно, в тех устройствах, которые можно назвать «умными», не важно, какие функции они выполняют. У UPnP есть много преимуществ, но имеются и недостатки. Расскажем о плюсах и минусах использования технологии, чтобы вам проще было решить, стоит её использовать или нет.
Упрощенная настройка сети. Без использования технологии вам пришлось бы настраивать сеть вручную, а также потребовалось бы подключать каждое сетевое устройство самостоятельно.
Автоматическое открытие и закрытие портов. UPnP берет на себя открытие и закрытие портов для обмена данными. Если бы его не было, то пришлось бы все это настраиваться самостоятельно.
Обмен мультимедийным контентом.
Автоматическое обновление программ и прошивок.
UPnP создает уязвимость в сети, через которое злоумышленники могут получить доступ к внутренней сети или вашим данным, что угрожает безопасности ваших данных.
Требуется проверка совместимости приложений, программ и некоторых устройств, не все начинается работать сразу в автоматическом режиме.
Как включить, отключить и настроить
Эта служба встроена во все операционные системы, роутеры, а также используется некоторыми программами. Здесь разберем то, как можно её включить и отключить, чтобы вы могли сами использовать эту технологию в те моменты, когда она вам нужна.
В роутере
У каждого производителя есть свой интерфейс, что усложняет поиск настройки. Мы разберем на примере маршрутизатора ТП-Линк. Сначала вам потребуется перейти в раздел «Дополнительные настройки», который находится сверху. Далее, в левом меню выбираем «NAT переадресация» и щелкаем по этому пункту меню. Откроется полный список с опциями, выбирайте UPnP, с правой стороны откроется окно с настройками. Переводите рычажок в положение Вкл(Enable).
Если не получилось найти опцию в указанном месте, то стоит посмотреть инструкцию для вашей модели роутера. Иногда происходит обновление прошивки или операционной системы и пункты перемещаются с места на место. У других же разработчиков эта опция может находиться в других местах, вплоть до расположения в блоке DMZ, так что потребуется ознакомиться с более подробной инструкцией перед настройкой.
В Windows
Здесь будем рассматривать последние версии операционных систем, на более старых версиях алгоритм отличается, хотя большая часть настроек располагается в этих же местах, но может иметь другое название. Для начала настройки вам потребуется открыть Панель управления, сделать это вы можете через меню параметров или просто найдя программу через строку поиска.
После этого нажмите на раздел «Сеть и интернет», для этого может потребоваться сменить отображение в углу. Далее выбираем раздел «Управление сетями и общим доступом», а потом нажимаем с левой стороны на «Изменить дополнительные параметры».
Откроется окно, в котором потребуется расставить галочки и разрешения таким образом, чтобы они помогали вам работать. Есть и сторонние программы, которые помогут провести настройку без использования панели управления, но используйте их в том случае, если уверены в разработчике и если доверяете месту загрузки. В остальных случаях лучше потратить немного больше времени, но не использовать стороннее программное обеспечение.
На Linux
На большей части операционных систем линукса эта служба отключена по умолчанию. Здесь вам потребуется самостоятельно запустить их, если они есть в системе. В некоторых версиях операционных систем такая функция вырезана по умолчанию и просто так получить к ней доступ не получится. Найдите в интернете свою версию операционной системы с конкретной инструкцией, где-то сможете включить UPnP Service через консоль, а где-то нет.
Если у вас не получилось использовать технологию, то может потребовать использование сторонних программ или igd(Internet Group Device Protocol). В этом случае вам придется самостоятельно заниматься проброской портов. Для этого потребуется понять, на какой порт и от какой программы приходит информация на роутер/компьютер и куда дальше её стоит отправлять. Рассказ о проброске портов здесь будет излишен, главное вам понять, что нужно правильно указать, куда отправлять информацию с внешнего порта.
В программах
В некоторых программах вы встретите раздел с UPnP. Например, в торрент-трекерах UPnP переадресация. Если у вас кабель подключен напрямую к компьютеру или проброшен порт специально для торрента, то эту опцию стоит выключить, в остальных случаях можете включить.
В плеере VLC также можно использовать UPnP, он пригодится в том случае, если у вас дома организован собственный DLNA-сервер с контентом. Для подключения к нему запустите плеер, потом нажмите в верхнем меню на «Вид» и выберите «Плейлист».
Далее с левой стороны выберите «Протокол UPnP» и дождитесь завершения сканирования. В списке появятся доступные для подключения объекты. Выберите тот, с которого собираетесь проигрывать медиа-файлы и подключитесь к нему.
Технология используется в программах, так что при настройке встречается в различных программах. Обычно с использованием программы проблем не возникает, а если что-то не работает, то поищите информацию в инструкции от конкретной программы.
