Brilliant; thank you Nee. No rush.

This could be an issue relating to bad memory, AV or file system corruption. I’d start by running memtest on your RAM then try disabling your AV if the 8 passes on the RAM are successful.

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (50)
Invalid system memory was referenced. This cannot be protected by try-except.
Typically the address is just plain bad or it is pointing at freed memory.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffd5fee55001e4, memory referenced.
Arg2: 0000000000000000, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation.
Arg3: fffff80f0b981934, If non-zero, the instruction address which referenced the bad memory
address.
Arg4: 0000000000000002, (reserved)

Hi,
Bugcheck 50 can be caused by a number of issues namely, drivers, Hardware (usually RAM) and AV suites to name but a few.
You do have a driver appearing in the Stack which is almost a sure sign that’s the culprit:
Code:
nt!KeBugCheckEx
`string'+0x41fc4
nt!MmAccessFault+0x9ca
nt!KiPageFault+0x13c

IOMap64.sys Thu Oct 23 01:52:12 2014: ASUS Kernel Mode Driver ?Asus Smart Doctor/iTracker 2 Asus GPU Tweak and GPU Tweak
Please remove to test.
If the bsod continues then follow Neem’s advice and run Memtest86

Thank you both.
No Antivirus installed so that rules that out. Also, I did a completely fresh installation earlier this week to also eliminate file corruption as Nee suggested — so while it might be something relating to any of the software/drivers I have installed since, the chances are lower.
I have just now removed the ASUS software as suggested by kemical; and run windows’ own memory diagnostic. According to MemoryDiagnostics-Results in Event Viewer: The Windows Memory Diagnostic tested the computer’s memory and detected no errors.
But — I still have a suspicion that it could be the memory or perhaps the compatibility of the memory with my motherboard. Maybe an idea is to switch XMP profile off and apply the timings manually. In any case — I will run Memtest86 as suggested and report back.
Appreciate the help.

Depending on what Memtest86 reports I’d leave the settings for now.

Sounds good. Thanks for the update.

Kemical — once memtest86 completes — would you be able to take a look at results at all? [According to their instructions, the results generate a \EFI\BOOT\MemTest86.log file which I can attach if needed.]

Agreed. I’ve just checked through CPUz and Bios XMP does accurately define timings correctly for all 4 modules. So I’ll leave settings intact for now.

Sure no problem although if there are error’s they are usually easy to spot.

Kemical/Neem — happy 2017 folks.
As a short update — 12 hours of memtest86 later [and through the change of the new year], the report came out clean [copied below as I’m not able to upload an .html file].

Which does make me wonder if indeed your initial suspicions that it could be ASUS AI Suite software related was the culprit. In any case, for now at least, since removing all traces of ASUS software, the computer seems smooth.
I’ll monitor and advise if something else comes up. In meantime — thanks a lot to both of you
