Hello
i did a second partition in my new macbook.
Installed win10 professional. The Bluetooth was working.
Then i had to reset my pc and i installed win10 home.
Bluetooth is not present in my network adapters.
How it’s possible that in win 10 pro is working and in win10 home is not?
How can i solve? (not installing win10 pro)?

FFrom the Mac side run BootCamp. You should see an offer to download windows drivers. Do so. Then launch windows and install them.

This is what dab is suggesting.
1. Download drivers to a USB Flash drive using BC Assistant.
2. Switch to Windows, connect your USB and run setup.exe from Bootcamp folder on the USB.

In Windows Device Manager, click on View and enable Show Hidden Devices. Do you see any BT entries?

You will need to manually install the BT driver by right-clicking on BT adapter and finding the driver on the USB. Please test.

You have two choices, with remove/re-install W10 Home, or in Device Manager ‘Scan for hardware changes’ and check if it comes back. Also, on View menu, enable ‘Show Hidden Devices’ and check if the adapter has been hidden.

If BT works on the OSX side, it is not a hardware issue. You can look at Event Viewer for any related error messages. What is the year/model of your Mac?

There are known issues with Bluetooth/WiFi on the 2015/2016 MacBooks. Please see BootCamp fails to start after upgrade to MacOS Sierra 10.12.1 as an example. What is the current version of OS X on your Mac?

Bluetooth not working on Windows Boot Camp Macbook
This worked for me; it might not work for you. Remember I’m just same random guy on the internet so I take no responsibility for anything that happens to your machine. Okay?
The Problem
As yet (5th Aug 2015) there’s no official support from Apple for Windows 10 running through Boot Camp. So, when I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10, I was expecting there to be a couple of issues. One of these was a lack of Bluetooth. Also getting the fn key working.
But, it turns out to be easy to fix.
Get the Driver
The driver for Windows 8.1 works with 10, so you just need to grab that.
Go to https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204048 and find your machine in the list. You want to look for the zip file download of the Boot Camp Assistant software.
For me, it was this one:
Download that file (it’s pretty big – 882Mb for my one) and unzip that once done.
Install the Driver
Inside the unpacked folder, go into the BootCamp folder and then into the $WinPEDriver$ folder under that.
The driver needs to be installed via device manager so just confirm that the AppleBluetoothBroadcom64 folder is there for now.
In Windows, open up device manager (the easiest way to do this is just hit the Windows key and type ‘device manager’ – it’ll be the first result).
Expand other devices and you should see an unknown device.
Right click it and select Update driver software.
Chose the second option on the pop up to browse your computer for the driver software.
Browse to the $WinPEDriver$ from your downloads and select that. Make sure Include subfolders is checked and then click Next and Windows will install the Bluetooth driver for your Mac Book.

Bluetooth is not working or can’t be recognized after some BootCamp users upgrade to Windows 10. This is a very annoying issue as it won’t find and pair your Bluetooth devices, such as the keyboard or a speaker.
The problem is common and can be fixed with a series of quick solutions. Keep reading to find out what to do when the BootCamp Bluetooth stops working!
What can I do if BootCamp Bluetooth is not working?
1. Uninstall the MotionInJoy game driver
- Press Windows + R to open Run, type devmgmt.msc, and hit Enter.
- Find the extra game driver MotionInJoy at the bottom of the list, right-click on it, and select Uninstall device.
- Again, click Uninstall in the confirmation prompt.
- Wait for a few minutes, or restart your system
- Now, open again the Device Manager and the Bluetooth Driver should be there.
If you can’t find the Bootcamp Bluetooth driver or it’s not working, often removing the MotionInJoy driver does the trick!
2. Reinstall the drivers
If the Bootcamp Bluetooth is still not working, try reinstalling the Apple drivers. Run BootCamp from the Mac side, and you should see a message inviting you to download new Windows drivers.
Download the Bootcamp Windows 10 Bluetooth drivers, and you should be good to go! In case you’re not sure how to perform this, it would be helpful to use dedicated driver update software applications.

3. Install Apple built-in Bluetooth driver
- Open the Device Manager, expand Bluetooth, right-click on Apple Broadcom Built-in Bluetooth, and select Update driver.
- Choose Browse my computer for drivers, and then click on Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
- Now, select Apple Inc. for Manufacturer and Apple Built-in Bluetooth, and click Next.
- Once the driver has been installed, you should see the Apple Built-in Bluetooth and Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator listed under Bluetooth Radios.
- You should now be able to set up your Bluetooth devices.
One user suggested that installing the Apple built-in Bluetooth driver fixed things when the Bootcamp Bluetooth is not working.

So through trial and error on my 2018 Macbook Pro (with a T2 chip), and booted into Windows 10 with Boot Camp, I figured out a workaround to force my bluetooth speaker to not re-pair properly after a reboot. Steps to try:
- someone suggested via this reddit post to fully power down the Mac, wait a bit, then boot directly to Windows. Applies if you’re on Mojave
- but that wasn’t enough for me. So the next step was to remove all Bluetooth devices in the Settings app, then go into Device Manager and remove all Bluetooth hardware. Then Action > Scan for hardware changes, to readd Bluetooth hardware.
Removing all Bluetooth devices beforehand is important, as they magically pop back into Device Manager if you don’t. Afterwards I was able to get my speaker to pair once again.
Depending on which Mac you have, with older Macs you probably have a separate Bluetooth driver. It might have options to turn off power saving; try disabling that if possible:

Recently I had to re-format my dad’s Macbook Pro 2017 13-inch model with Windows 10 and faced an issue I never faced before when installing via Boot Camp. Note that I did completely get rid of the macOS partition this time around, but did download the latest Boot Camp drivers prior to removing macOS completely.
The issue was that when connecting a Bluetooth mouse to the newly formatted Windows, the mouse would respond when I had the Bluetooth settings page open, but would become unresponsive when I closed it. When I opened the settings page again, it would show that the mouse was connected and start moving again. Weird.
After a few hours of digging around on numerous Apple support forums, reddit, and other various Korean blogs/cafes, I found suggestions of updating the Broadcom drivers.
To jump to the conclusion, this fixed it. If you face similar symptoms, read on to see if you have the same driver numbers, and try manually updating the Bluetooth drivers, despite what the auto update might suggest (it will say that you have the latest drivers).
- Go to your “Device Manager” and under “System devices”, you should see Broadcom Serial Bus Driver over UART Bus Eunmerator. Check its driver version. Mine said 12.0.1.873.
- If you try to auto-update to the latest, it will just say that you have the latest drivers.
- I downloaded a more recent version of the drivers from here. The version I downloaded at the time of this post is 12.0.1.875.
- After downloading and extracting the ZIP file, try to update your driver again except manually this time and specifying the folder you just extracted.
- It should install the latest version, and you should see the new driver version (in my case, 12.0.1.875).
- Completely shutdown your computer (not restart). Boot your computer again and your Bluetooth connection issues should be fixed.
Let me know if it doesn’t work as intended, or the drivers aren’t available anymore as I do have a backup of it.
