DLL-библиотека dinput8.dll применяется в компьютерных играх. Она предназначена для оптимизации мыши внутри игровых приложений – если отсутствует файл, то функции мыши могут не выполняться вовсе или работать ограниченно.

Как установить dinput8.dll?

Скопировать файл DINPUT8.DLL в папку с игрой, перезапустить игру. Иногда необходимо перезагружать ПК.

Самая распространенная проблема в GTA San Andreas и GTA Vice City — неработающая мышь в игре.
А также на многих играх которые были выпущены в районе 2000-2010 г.г.

Проблемы:

1. Чаще всего при входе в меню игры мышь не работает совсем.
2. Можно двигать курсором мыши но кнопки не работают
3. В игре не работает мышь, нельзя осматривать окружающий мир и управлять персонажем с помощью мыши.

Данные проблемы стали появляться начиная с Windows xp sp2 / sp3. В Windows vista можно было справится простым нажатием кнопки «Esc» — вход/выход в меню. Но начиная с Windows 7, а особенно в Windows 8 / 8.1 — проблема носит катастрофический характер.

Теперь можно достаточно просто решить проблему с неработающей мышью.

Решение проблемы:

1. Скачиваем архив — dinput8.dll.rar
2. Копируем файл из архива dinput8.dll в папку с игрой (туда где лежит приложение запускающее игру — файл .exe) Обычно это корневая папка игры. Можно проверить путь — смотри скриншот № 1.
3. Перезагружаем компьютер.
4. Запускаем игру.
5. Если вдруг у вас все равно остались проблемы — запускайте игру от имени администратора (смотри скриншот №2)

1. Удалить windows.
2. Поставить нормальною windows, чистою, без интегрированного по, без чего то вырезанного или добавленного, отключенного.
Тогда все будет работать без проблем.

dinput8.dll не помог к сожалению… в режиме совместимости 98 me хр версия 2, 3 тоже не помогло ((( я не знаю что и делать… удалил файл dinput8 и поставил совместимость 98 me вообще все сохраненки пропали
я прошел все миссии с нерабочей мышью… но сейчас все же захотелось поиграть с рабочей… нужно карту смотреть часто… а это значит esc жать бесконечно надоест!

кстати, файл dinput8.dll не полноценный у тебя. я поискал в интернете и нашел другой dinput8.dll. прикинь, теперь мышка всегда работает! обнови твой файл dinput8.dll, пожалуйста!

кстати почему не удалил первую ссылку, тот файл что не работает полноценно? а вот второй файл он же как мой оказывается. я проверял. так что только его по сущности и надо оставить…
и если надо попробовать один, потом другой, напиши об этом.
я думал они разные только потому, что один rar, а другой zip.
по количеству скачиваний сильно опережает тот файл, что не работает… а второй файл качают меньше, а именно он работает…

Андрей Корнеев, У меня работает первый файл.
У тебя не работает возможно из-за особенности твоего ПК. Установлены разные драйверы с разным комплектом доп.по, содержание которого видимо у нас отличается.

Поменял местами.

У меня чистая Windows 10 x64 с сайта Microsoft, установлены все обновления, кроме одного. Не помню какое, удалил т.к. пк с ним стал глючить.

У меня работает первый файл.

местами менять не нужно было. просто надо было дописать если версия 1 не помогла, попробуйте версию 2.
это бы мою проблему решило быстрее. и другим возможно тоже.
я за то чтобы вернуть как было но с этим пояснением. я даже не попытался скачать версию 2 и попробовать её.
к тому же, версия 2 и 3 идентичные. я нашел тот же самый файл только на другом сайте. потому что я был уверен что это тот же файл что и версия 1… ну типо один рар а другой зип. и не понял что они разные… меня это остановило скачать и попробовать версию 2.

да и вообще, в теме, сообщения с 8 по 13 можно удалить… так как мы выяснили всё. я ничего нового не нашел…

ПРОСТО ДОПИШИ: если v.1 не помогла, попробуйте v.2
это всё что не хватает для игры без проблем. спасибо, скорпион.

ты немного перемудрил у тебя получилось две версии 1 а второй нету. только 3 яя. верни свою вторую а мою третью убери так как она копия второй. за подсказку спасибо. это надо.

GTA Vice City is one of the greatly popular adventure games from Rockstar games and this a part of Grand Theft Auto series. Unluckily many players encounter mouse not working issue during its gameplay on Windows 10. The problem is not actually new instead it was annoying in the older versions of Windows. 1] Run the Game in compatibility mode

Some older versions of Windows have been working perfectly to run GTA Vice City. Windows 10 offers to open a program in compatibility mode aka you are able to run the game with the settings of Windows 8 or 7. Hopefully, the settings will be useful during gameplay of GTA Vice City and you will not find any issue.

Press Win+E shortcut at once and open the File Explorer.
Navigate to the below path –

"C:\ Program Files\ Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas"

Right click on Gta_sa.exe and Choose Properties option from context menu.
When a window appears, enter the Compatibility tab.
In the “Compatibility mode” segment, check the box against Run this program in compatibility mode for:.
Click dropdown and select Windows 8 or7.

2] Use the original Steam exe file

Corrupted gta-sa.exe for GTA VC San Andreas can also cause mouse spinning issue. To deal with this reason you need to download the original setup file. Here are the instructions to accomplish the task –

Download the gta-sa.exe file from the original Steam version of GTA San Andreas.
Open the Rockstar Game Launcher.
Go to Settings and click My Installed Games.
Proceed ahead and click View Installation folder button.
Copy the setup gta-sa.exe and paste it to the “installation folder”.
Now, right click on “gta-sa.exe” here and choose Create a shortcut.
Leave the Rockstar Game Launcher and double click newly created shortcut for running the game.

The GTA Vice City Mouse not Working will be fixed by now but there is a little spike here as you can no more run the game from Rockstar Game Launcher. You need to double click the shortcut file every time for running the game which is pretty acceptable than having spinning issues with mouse.

Purchase either a wired or and USB controller from shop.
If you have taken Xbox then connect the Controller to the computer.
Start the Rockstar Game Launcher.
Open Settings from the In-game features.
Shift the control from Mouse + Keyboard to Joystick / Controller.
Play the Game using the controller.

Adding the DINPUT8.DLL file into the game directory can solve your issue. DirectInput (DINPUT8.DLL ) is an API for input devices like mouse and keyboards.

You need to download the older version (4.8.0.400) of this DLL file version. However, the latest version of the DINPUT8.DLL file is 10.0.15063.608.

Steps:

Download the DINPUT8.DLL Version 4.8.0.400 file.
Copy the file and paste it into the game directory.
The downloaded file will be a ZIP file. You’ll need to extract the DLL file from the ZIP file.
Run and play the game.

Method 2. Use Only One Core of the Processor

Modern processors have multiple cores and each core reads and executes program instructions. When you launch the Vice City game, all cores work simultaneously. But, playing the game using a single core can solve your mouse problem. Thanks to Windows OS to gives an option to run the program on manually selected cores and gives an affinity option.

So, you can select a single core or CPU of the processor to play the hassle-free game. Also, this solution works for 9 out of 10 users.

Steps:

Open and launch the Vice City Game to run it.
After launching, open the task manager app by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc from the keyboard. The game will be minimized when you open the task manager app.
Now right-click on the “gta-vc.exe” file from the task manager app and open the “Go to details” option. This will open the Details tab.

Silent Patch is a third-party tool for GTA Vice City that can solve most problems and issues. This tool supports GTA Vice City 1.0 (all versions) and GTA Vice City 1.1 (all versions, including Steam and Rockstar Games Launcher versions). Steps are given below to use SilentPatchVC.

Search the “Silent Patch for GTA Vice City” in Google and open the GTA Forums website with the “SilentPatch – Scripts & Plugins” title.
Now click on the DOWNLOAD SilentPatchVC to download the tool. The downloaded file will be in ZIP format.

Open the download ZIP file and extract the files. After that, copy and paste the files to the game directory. So, SilentPatchVC.asi ends up in the main game directory and map folders end up in ‘data\maps’.
You can also directly extract the files to your VC directory.

If the problem still occurs, download a ddraw.dll SilentPatch component together with this plugin. From the GTA Forums website page, click on the DOWNLOAD DDraw Component to download the ZIP file. After that, extract the DLL file to your game directory.

Method 4. Using “Run program in compatibility mode”

Microsoft gives a Compatibility option in Windows OS. If the program is not running on the newer version of Windows, you can run a program in compatibility mode for older versions of Windows.

The Vice City game was developed for the older versions of Windows. So, you can resolve your problem by running gta-vc.exe file in compatibility mode for Windows XP.

Steps:

Open the folder, where you installed the Grand Theft Auto Vice City. Generally, the default path is “C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City”.
From the folder, right-click on the “gta-vc.exe” and open Properties from the menu.
Now Open the “Compatibility” tab and enable the checkmark for the “Run this program in compatibility mode for” option.
Select the Windows version from the drop-down menu. You can select XP service pack 3.
Click on Apply and OK to apply the changes.
Open and launch the game and see the changes.

Method 5. Buy and Use Original Game

A Pirated copy of the game may have many issues. So, you can get rid of all problems by buying an original copy of GTA Vice City.

You can buy and download it from the official Rockstar Launcher and Steam.

Click here to download DINPUT8.DLL from my Google Drive. This .dll file has been tested and is fully compatible with GTA Vice City as well as GTA Sanandreas.
Locate the downloaded file on your hard drive.
Cut the file and head to GTA Vice City’s main directory (located by default at C:/>Program Files (x86)/>Rockstar Games/>GTA Vice City.
Launch the game by double-clicking on ‘gtavc.exe’ in the main directory.

If your mouse is still not working after adding DINPUT8.DLL file to GTA Vice City’s main directory, you are probably using a broken mouse. Make sure you have downloaded all the optional updates for Windows 10 because sometimes, peripheral and device driver updates are marked optional but they are essential for smooth functioning.

1. Скачиваем программу FlipTIB

2. Устанавливаем её

3. Нажимая правую кнопку на ярлыке или ехе-шнике СА выбираем «одноядерный режим»

4. Наслаждаемся спокойной игрой.

Это автоматизация процесса определения приоритета на одно ядро.

Короче недавно купил диск с ГТА. В игре повышенная вертикальная чувствительность мыши. Просто космическая. Помогите кто может. Кстати такая проблема не только в Вайсе, но и в трехе. В СА такой фигни не замечено.

Эту проблему обязательно исправят патчем, а пока поможет только комбинация Alt-Tab. Затем вновь войдите в игру из панели задач.

Windows 7,проблем с «GTA 3»,вообще никаких небыло.

Всё здесь прочёл,ниче непомогает с проблемой cкорости мыши.
Тоесть она работает,но вертикально слишком резко а по горизонтали всё нормально,несмотря на минимальные установки скорости мыши в игре.

Ага но скорость мыши в игре бешеная,еле прошёл одну из начальных миссий где Лэнс управляет вертолётом а ты с него стреляешь.Невозможно не в кого попасть с такой скоростью мыши,и не только с вертолёта но и просто тоже тяжело очень целиться.И это при том что скорость мыши,в меню настройки на нуле.Выставление скрости мыши в Windows ни капельки не влияет на бешеную скрость мыши в игре.
Помогитеее с этим ужосом =(((

Мда… Тема хоть и старая, но как вижу актуальная. Решение универсальное и рабочее 100%
Качаем программу утилиту CPU-Control (http://www.koma-code.de/ProgsZip/CPU_Control.zip).
Устанавливаем, запускаем. В правой части программы выбираем «Авто»

Все, радуемся. Мышка работает.

Поднимаю древнюю тему. Сталкиваюсь с такой проблемой на трёх совершенно разных компьютерах (причём один из них — ноут, где отказывает не только мышь, но тачпад) во всех GTA третьей серии. Только на старом компьютере всё нормально работало.

Может, кто-то нашёл решение проблемы?

От версии игры и типа мыши (пробовал как USB-шные, так и PS/2) ничего не меняется.

У меня нажатие на Esc в такой ситуации часто приводит к подвисанию. Собственно, это и напрягает, а так пофигу было бы.

От ОС тоже не зависит, кстати. Проблема имеет место и под XP, и под Vista.

Я переустановил две WINDOWS(разных версий)поменял две мыши(тоже разных)и переустанавливал васю раз пять и DELUXE и обычную(иногда даже с сэйвами).Мышь всё-равно глючит.
ВЫВОД:ТУТ НИЧЕГО НЕ ПОМОЖЕТ!
