Как известно, актуальную версию Хрома вы не установите на системы ниже, чем Windows 10. Поэтому предлагаем самое простое решение – использовать более старую версию. В отличие от Google Chrome, Yandex.Браузер по-прежнему поддерживает «семерку» (на сегодняшний день), но Яндекс.Браузер не всех устраивает. Поэтому, если хотите пользоваться Хромом – то скачивайте предложенный оффлайн-установщик (который «весит» всего-то 91.6 МБ) и пользуйтесь дальше своим предпочтительным браузером. Многие пользователи «семерки» даже не знают о том, что можно просто пользоваться предыдущей версией, т.к. на сайте Google по умолчанию предлагается сразу онлайн-установщик актуальной версии. И затем пользователь видит сообщение, что система должна быть не ниже десятки, чтоб использовать Хром. На самом деле, пользоваться устаревшей (совместимой с семеркой) версией – даже лучше, ведь Хром не будет без конца обновляться (с выходом каждой новой версии). Следовательно, и мусора в системе будет поменьше. Так что это просто отличный вариант. Обратите внимание, что вам предложен 64-битный установщик, т.к. 32-битными версиями Виндовс уже почти никто не пользуется. Поэтому установщик подходит только для x64 системы, а на 32-битной версии Виндовс он работать не будет.
Различные плагины, которые предназначены для использования с Хромом будут совместимы с этой версией еще не один год (в подавляющем большинстве случаев). Конечно, через несколько лет эта версия постепенно будет устаревать – но ведь и пользователей «семерки» становится все меньше, т.к. ежедневно огромное число людей переходят на более новые системы. Ведь они отлично работают даже не бюджетных компьютерах, а старые ПК постепенно (но уверенно) уходят в прошлое.
Браузер Google Chrome обладает по умолчанию прекрасным уровнем безопасности (в том числе, и для защиты ваших данных). Но будьте внимательны и осторожны при установке различных расширений для него. Многие из них даже тестировать нежелательно, т.к. они могут быть связаны с различной рекламной деятельностью или даже быть откровенно вредоносными. Поэтому при добавлении расширений и плагинов рекомендуем в первую очередь официальные варианты.

Загрузка нужного языка интерфейса – автоматическая!
Сам установщик – базовый, на английском языке, но если ваша система имеет русский интерфейс, то браузер автоматически подгрузит нужную для себя локализацию. Поэтому абсолютно не играет роли, на каком именно языке ваша Виндовс 7 или 8.1. Прямо при первом же запуске Google Chrome будет сразу же с той же локализацией, что и ваша система.

Чтобы убедиться в том, что вам предложен действительно официальный установщик – можете открыть свойства этого файла, убедиться в наличии цифровой подписи Google LLC и прочих стандартных подтверждений. Конечно, некоторые пользователи относятся не слишком серьезно к вопросам безопасности и предпочитают качать различные любительские репаки браузеров. На самом деле, на 100% безопасно можно использовать только официальную версию Хрома. То есть именно ту версию, которая вам здесь предложена.
