Отключите загрузку всего ненужного (отключайте только то, что знаете для чего используется, в противном случае вы рискуете повредить работу загрузки). Перезагрузите компьютер. Не запускайте приложения (антивирус, Skype и т.п.). Запустите Frostpunk.
Повысьте эффективность работы ОС
Выключите эффекты Aero в Windows, деактивируйте индексирование поиска, системные звуки и другое.
Флешка в качестве оперативной памяти
Нажмите правой кнопкой мыши на диске USB и выберите «Свойства». Перейдите на вкладку «Ready Boost», выбрать «Использовать это устройство» (“Use this device”).

Безусловно, проще всего увеличить FPS путем апгрейда компонентов ПК, но сначала стоит попробовать бесплатные методы. Обновите драйвер видеоадаптера (Nvidia, AMD или Intel). Перезагрузите компьютер. Установите пониженное разрешение и выберите пониженную сложность эффектов в настройках графики. Не рекомендуется применять всевозможные «бустеры» и ускорители, потому что они могут содержать вредоносное ПО, да и к тому же их реальная эффективность, как правило, крайне незначительна. Вместе с тем вы можете заразить вирусом свой ПК. Переустановка Windows. Этот вариант имеет смысл рассматривать в крайнем случае, если другие варианты не сработали. Суть в том, что со временем ваша «операционка» разрастается устаревшими файлами и процессами столь сильно, что серьезно замедляется выполнение программ. Frostpunk перестала запускаться
Какие изменения вы производили на компьютере? Возможно причиной проблемы стала установка новой программы. Откройте список установленных программ (Пуск -> Установка и удаление программ), отсортируйте по дате. Удалите недавно установленные. Переустановите Frostpunk.
Также проверьте диспетчер задач. Если запущены копии процессов Frostpunk, завершите их все.

Сперва выполните перезагрузку вашего ПК, после чего проверьте звуки в Windows: кликните два раза иконку динамика в системном трее (рядом с часами), а затем кликайте по ползунку громкости.

Frostpunk — BSOD или «Синий экран»
BSOD, как правило, означает какую-то серьезную неполадку в вашей системе, которая не связана с игрой. Первым делом проверьте свой блок питания. При перегреве он будет отключаться. Также, если системе не хватает от него питания, то возможны различные ошибки, включая BSOD. Проведите тестирование других компонентов вашего ПК. Frostpunk вылетает без ошибки

Возможные решения
- Переустановите драйвера видеокарты
- Попробуйте запустить игру от имени администратора
- Установите/обновите DirectX, Visual C++, .Net Framework. Все файлы загружайте только с официального сайта Microsoft.
- Откройте командную строку «Выполнить» через меню «Пуск» и пропишите sfc /scannow. С помощью этой команды ваш ПК просканирует системные файлы и исправит некоторые ошибки.
- Удалите лишний софт, который может конфликтовать с видеодрайвером. В основном это различные «улучшатели» графики. Чем меньше у вас работает дополнительных приложений, тем лучше.
Метод с помощью программы Dependency Walker 64bit
- Скачайте и распакуйте Dependency Walker 64bit.
- Запустите программу, перейдите в View > Full paths. Теперь выберите файл .exe Frostpunk. После того как вы выбрали .exe игры может всплывать окно в котором вы увидите ошибки, просто закройте его. В разделе module, прокрутите блок вниз до конца ошибки и вы увидите несколько значений в столбцах.
- Теперь в колонке CPU все DLL файлы должны быть x64-битные для вашей игры. Если есть x86 DLL-файл будет в красном столбце CPU. Этот файл и вызывает ошибку 0xc000007b.
- Теперь перейдите на сайт dll-files.com и скачайте там 64-битную версию этого DLL файла и поместить его в корневую папку с игрой и в C:\Windows\system32. Игра теперь должна запустится без проблем.

Ни билда 10-ки, ни какое видео, ни какие драйвера стоят на видео. Даже конфига маломальского нет. Вообще никаких данных нет. Может Вы на бюджетном ноуте с 10кой запускаете. Откуда нам узнать то все это?

Ваша правда. Исправляюсь:
1. Windows 10 Home (лицензионная) — версия 1709 (Сборка ОС 16299.402)
2. ТТХ в скрине
3. Данные по ошибке из журнальчика приложений в просмотре событий во втором скрине
4. Стоят последние дрова на видеокарту (geforce gtx960) -версия 397.31
5 Visual c++ microsoft framework 4.7 и даже directx все последней версии

Ни в коем случае. Конфиги тоже важны для запуска игры но не этой. К слову у меня есть и бюджетный ноут имеется (Intel Pentium p6100 + Nvidia GeForce 420 1GB ram 4GB ram 500GB hdd диск на компе) и игра отлично запустилась, правда после танцев с бубном и… там Windows 7.

стоит Visual C++ `2017 последней версии. Frameworl также обновлен до последней версии. Только сейчас буквально обновление прилетело для винды от 30.04 (сборка 1803) — поставил, не поменялось ничего.

На стиме много жалоб на не запуск игры. В основном жалобы на 7 и 8. С 10 тоже есть проблемы. Решение предлагают на изменение разрешения экрана. Короче зайди на стим и читай.

Может всё дело в том, что десятка Home и чего то в ней не хватает? У меня и у знакомых (специально спрашивал) игра установлена на Professional, всё пошло сразу без проблем, я после автоматической настройки графики всё вывел на максималку и игра летает.

Да не может быть такого. Миллионы людей Windows 10 пользуются и миллионы на Home сидят. Думаю большая часть, учитывая что компы именно с Home версией продаются. Это представь сколько тогда народу разрабы обломали. Не думаю что в этом проблема.

Возможно тебе этого и не нужно, но малоли.
У меня есть друг, он установил себе на комп windows 10 home, и у него, по закону жанра, автоматом поставилисб все нужные драйверы, в том числе на видеокарту. И как раз сегодня он решит таки попробовать данную игру, он ее установил и, и она также не запустилась, то есть нажатие двуекратное на значок ни к чему не приводило, тогда я просто посоветовал ему обновить драйвер на видюху ( у него GTX 1050ti), чувак скачал его с официльного сайта, и вместе с драйвером ему поставился Microsoft visual 2017. Это странно конечно, но сегодня утром у меня не запускалалась игра, когда я нажимал на кнопку играть, то игра никак не реагировала ( стим, лицензия). Я потом пришел вечером, попробовал запустить и у меня получилось. Я думаю помогло либо перезапуск компа, либо последнее обновление на Windows 10 Home, которое содержало обновление дефендер!

Update the OS

Turn On Offline Permissions in the Microsoft Store
In the Windows Search, look for and open the Microsoft Store. Click on your Profile Icon and go into Settings. You should now see the Offline Permissions option, ensure that it’s turned on. Check if the game works after applying this fix. By default, this feature should be on.
Disconnect All External Devices

- Now, click Disable all
- Go to the Startup tab and click on Open Task Manager
- Disable one task at a time and restart the system.
Delete Microsoft Store Cache
To delete the MS Store cache, you need to go to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache
Delete the LocalCache Folder and reboot the PC. Now, try to launch the game and see if Frostpunk 2 is still failing to launch.
Ensure Necessary Services are Set to Automatically Run
If certain services are running as optimal, it can issue with Frostpunk 2 not launching on the Xbox app. Here are the servers you need to check:
IP Helper
Xbox Live Auth Manager
Xbox Live Game Save
Xbox Live Networking Service
Gaming Services
- In the Windows Search, type Services and click on Run as administrator
- Among the list of Services, find the above 5 one by one and ensure that the Startup Type is set to Automatic
- If it’s not set to Automatic, right-click on the Service > Properties
- Set the Startup Type to Automatic > Apply > OK.
Run sc.exe stop licensemanager in CMD
If none of the above solutions have worked, open the command prompt as an administrator and enter the command. Here are the steps you need to follow.
- In the Windows Search, type cmd and choose Run as administrator
- Paste the below command and hit Enter
sc.exe stop licensemanagerOnce the command is processed successfully, reboot the PC and try to run Frostpunk 2.
Reinstall the Game
Finally, if none of the above solutions have worked, your best hope is to reinstall the game.
Frostpunk hit the Steam platform today, after a highly anticipated release. Whilst most players have been able to get into the game smoothly, a small minority of players are having launch issues.

Upon launching the game, it either crashes, doesn’t make it past the start screen or doesn’t launch at all. Some users are also receiving the ‘Frostpunk.exe has stopped responding error’.
On top of that, some users are reporting high RAM usage. I personally don’t have any problems right now. However I thought I’d write a quick post with some potential fixes that the developers and other players have stated on the discussion forums.
It’s unknown whether just Windows 7/8 users are facing the problems, or Windows 10 users are too. I am not a developer of Frostpunk, nor am I affiliated with them. If you require further support, head to the discussion forums. Developers are working hard to listen to feedback and solve any errors and bugs in the current version of the game.
Verify your game files
One of the first fixes you can try is to verify the game files. Go into your Steam library, right click Frostpunk and choose ‘Properties’. Head into the Local Files tab and choose Verify Integrity of Game Files.
What this check does is ensures that any missing files or configurations are downloaded, and fixes any errors that may have occurred during download.
Download Visual C Package
The developer stated this potential fix themselves. Head to the Microsoft Site and download the latest VC package. Choose either 64 bit or 32 bit and install it. After doing so, try rebooting your computer and launching the game again.
Some users are reporting that this fix isn’t working, whilst some say it is. They also recommend that Windows 7/8 users have the KB4019990 patch applied.
Ensure your graphic drivers are updated
You’re going to want to ensure that your graphics drivers are updated to the latest version. You will need to do this yourself, as it entirely depends on your GPU brand. If you have Nvidia, you can try running the GeForce Experience and updating your drivers there. Otherwise, check the corresponding website. Restart your PC and try again.
It seems that updating outdated graphic drivers has been the main fix for a lot of users. You may have to do this process manually using the Nvidia or AMD website.
