Epson Perfection 1260 Specifications
The Epson Perfection 1260 photo scanner is a device that can easily be used by individuals who need to scan their photos or documents accurately. At a 1200 x 2400 dpi optical resolution, it’s good enough for snapshots of digital life. The package is also equipped with a transparency unit, making the 1260 an excellent tool for turning negatives or slides into digital files and working with standard paper media.
The Epson Perfection 1260 Photo is the most accessible scanner to set up and use. Designed for the average user, it has buttons that automatically start scanning jobs, saving you time and purging the system of complexity. You can adjust basic imaging parameters with the accompanying software: colors will be brighter; you can dust off the horrors brought into the scanner with a flicking finger. These features are less advanced than a professional machine, yet they serve well enough in homes and among amateur photographers. Compared with other low-end scanners, the Epson Perfection 1260 Photo looks good because it combines ease of use and good performance.
It’s slower than other models on the market and lacks the advanced features of a more expensive scanner. However, it’s reasonable for those with only modest scanning needs. However, people with more demanding requirements for scanning still may find it beneficial to examine other models with sharper resolutions and more sophisticated capabilities to provide faster speed or better quality results.
