Драйвера bootcamp bluetooth windows 10

Ok, this got me quite angry. Recently I bought bluetooth headphones Sony for my computer. They work quite well on latest MacOS with my 2015 MacBook Pro. However when I switch to bootcamp with Win 10 the experience turn to be really bad. Im using Win 10 mostly to play games with my PS4 controller and because I want to be sitting further from the computer I bought also wireless headphones. However it seems that bootcamp Windows 10 can handle only one BT device properly. If I have both my headphones and gamepad connected, the sound coming from my headphones is supper laggy and utterly horrible. While I do the same on my macOS — using PS4 gamepad and headphones at the same time, both work perfectly without any problem. So it is obviously software problem since both are using the same hardware. Is there some solution to this? Or some patch is coming? Or something? Because I dont believe the bluetooth hardware in MBP can’t handle two BT devices connected at the same time.

Radu Tyrsina has been a Windows fan ever since he got his first PC, a Pentium III (a monster at that time).

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.

This worked for me; it might not work for you. Remember I’m just same random guy on the internet so I take no responsibility for anything that happens to your machine. Okay?

The Problem

As yet (5th Aug 2015) there’s no official support from Apple for Windows 10 running through Boot Camp. So, when I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10, I was expecting there to be a couple of issues. One of these was a lack of Bluetooth. Also getting the fn key working.

But, it turns out to be easy to fix.

Get the Driver

The driver for Windows 8.1 works with 10, so you just need to grab that.

Go to https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204048 and find your machine in the list. You want to look for the zip file download of the Boot Camp Assistant software.

For me, it was this one:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013) - Windows 64-but

Download that file (it’s pretty big – 882Mb for my one) and unzip that once done.

Install the Driver

Inside the unpacked folder, go into the BootCamp folder and then into the $WinPEDriver$ folder under that.

The driver needs to be installed via device manager so just confirm that the AppleBluetoothBroadcom64 folder is there for now.

In Windows, open up device manager (the easiest way to do this is just hit the Windows key and type ‘device manager’ – it’ll be the first result).

Expand other devices and you should see an unknown device.

Right click it and select Update driver software.

Chose the second option on the pop up to browse your computer for the driver software.

Browse to the $WinPEDriver$ from your downloads and select that. Make sure Include subfolders is checked and then click Next and Windows will install the Bluetooth driver for your Mac Book.

After using boot camp assistant to install or upgrade microsoft windows on your mac, you might also need to install the latest windows support software (drivers) from apple.

Install Bootcamp Drivers In Windows 10 To Fix Bluetooth And Keyboard I have tried updating windows, updating bootcamp, reinstalling bootcamp drivers from usb, and fresh install of windows. nothing’s worked. any help would be appreciated. If you are experiencing display, keyboard, mouse, audio, built in camera, or microphone issues while running windows 10 on your mac, you can repair the boot camp drivers to fix issues. you can repair the boot camp if the boot camp control panel is not working properly as well. Download boot camp drivers for windows. boot back into windows, run the setup.exe file off the usb (let it run through the driver installation process again). once completed, reboot the machine and check if bluetooth works fine. On both i went on to update the driver, browse computer for drivers and pointed to windows support folder. both were installed with a series of sounds and pop up notifications about apple keyboard and trackpad being found.

Follow through the installation wizard. if you’re on a newer version of windows 11, you’ll notice that the bootcamp app doesn’t yet work and the drivers are actually still missing. we’ll fix these next. inside each of the driver folders in apple, right click on the .inf file and install. My bluetooth is not working with boot camp after upgrading to windows 10. how do i resolve this? to enable your bluetooth, run the boot camp assistant from the utilities folder on your mac and install the support software, which includes the latest drivers you need for bluetooth. My bluetooth stopped working once windows 10 upgrade was installed. i found this simple fix: open device manager, open the bluetooth radios subtree, right click the «apple broadcom built in bluetooth» icon, and choose the «update driver software » menu item. When the bootcamp bluetooth is not working, it’s usually a conflicting driver or improper installation to blame. a quick fix is to remove the motioninjoy game driver. many users got things up and running by reinstalling the bluetooth drivers in the device manager.

So through trial and error on my 2018 Macbook Pro (with a T2 chip), and booted into Windows 10 with Boot Camp, I figured out a workaround to force my bluetooth speaker to not re-pair properly after a reboot. Steps to try:

  • someone suggested via this reddit post to fully power down the Mac, wait a bit, then boot directly to Windows. Applies if you’re on Mojave
  • but that wasn’t enough for me. So the next step was to remove all Bluetooth devices in the Settings app, then go into Device Manager and remove all Bluetooth hardware. Then Action > Scan for hardware changes, to readd Bluetooth hardware.

Removing all Bluetooth devices beforehand is important, as they magically pop back into Device Manager if you don’t. Afterwards I was able to get my speaker to pair once again.

Depending on which Mac you have, with older Macs you probably have a separate Bluetooth driver. It might have options to turn off power saving; try disabling that if possible:

… getting a Bluetooth speaker to work is a must, thanks to the T2 leading to a crap audio experience in Windows 10 — sound glitching, plus the Spotify app just causes all sound to cut out.
