Production Branch/Studio Most users select this choice for optimal stability and performance. The NVIDIA RTX Enterprise Production Branch driver is a rebrand of the Quadro Optimal Driver for Enterprise (ODE). It offers the same ISV certification, long life-cycle support, regular security updates, and access to the same functionality as prior Quadro ODE drivers and corresponding Studio Drivers (i.e., of the same driver version number).
New Feature Branch (NFB)/Quadro New Feature (QNF) Users occasionally select this choice for access to new features, bug fixes, new operating system support, and other driver enhancements offered between Production Branch releases. Support duration for New Feature Branches is shorter than that for Production Branches.

Download NVIDIA GeForce 576.40 WHQL Driver. In driver version 576.40 WHQL, NVIDIA has focused on correcting rendering and stability problems observed on recent hardware. Fixed bugs include random crashes in Monster Hunter Wilds, shadow flicker elimination in Dead Space Remake on RTX 50 series GPUs, and correction of color saturation at non-native resolutions. Boot failures resulting in a black display on select ASUS ROG monitors have been resolved, and minor stutter on LG televisions when using G-SYNC at lower refresh rates has been addressed. Although many issues have been fixed, some remain under review or lack conclusive root-cause confirmation. Users may still experience flickering around light sources in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, crashes in Cyberpunk 2077 when using Photo Mode with path tracing, and unexpected termination in F1 23/F1 24 at race end. EA Sports FC 25 also shows intermittent gameplay crashes, and some configurations face difficulties installing the NVIDIA Control Panel from the Microsoft Store. Notebook-specific quirks may vary by system manufacturer.
That said, there are still a few wrinkles to iron out. You might see flickering effects around bright spots in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, and if you try to snap a screenshot in Cyberpunk 2077 with path tracing on, the game could crash. End-of-race crashes in F1 23 and F1 24 sneak up on some sessions, and EA Sports FC 25 has its own intermittent stability hiccups. Oh, and if you’re trying to grab the NVIDIA Control Panel from the Microsoft Store, that install path can still misbehave on certain PC builds. Notebook users, be aware that some of these issues may differ depending on your laptop’s specific configuration.
To get rolling, just download the 576.40 WHQL package and run the setup—you’ll find it through NVIDIA’s standard distribution channels. After the driver installs, head into the NVIDIA Control Panel or GeForce Experience to confirm that the DLSS 4 options are enabled for supported games. From there, tweak your performance and quality settings to match your preference. With DLSS 4, you can push higher resolutions or smoother frame rates without manually sacrificing image fidelity.
