ClipGrab — отличный полностью бесплатный загрузчик видеороликов на Ваш ПК из таких популярных ресурсов как YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion и многих других. Так легко и просто скачивать клипы еще никогда не было. Прямо в приложении реализована поисковая строка, где задается название интересующего Вас видео. Кроме того, Вы можете скопировать в буфер обмена URL-адрес на нужный ролик из любого сервиса и вставить его в ClipGrab: программа сразу же отобразит Вам превью, чтобы Вы убедились в правильности скачиваемого клипа.
Перед загрузкой есть возможность указать качество видеоматериала и формат выходного файла, т.е. программа не просто сохраняет клипы на компьютере, но позволяет сразу же и конвертировать их. Доступны форматы WMV, MPEG4, OGG Theora, MP3 (только аудио), OGG Vorbis (только аудио).
В настройках можно указать место загрузки, назначить работу с буфером обмена и уведомлениями, установить метку сохранения тегов (для MP3-файлов) и задать другие параметры. ClipGrab is a free download manager for videos from media hosting and other online services that do not allow you to download files. The application supports several dozen of the most popular media resources on the Internet.
The program has a search line, using which you can use the name or tags to find the desired video on the network without using a browser. You can also use your web browser to search for videos by copying the url link of the page where the desired video is located and copying it to the clipboard. Then the program will automatically intercept it, recognize and start downloading the file. It is worth noting that the program downloads files quickly enough, even when downloading large HD-rollers or several simultaneous downloads.
ClipGrab offers the convenience of searching for, downloading, and converting videos from dozens of popular online sources, all in a single application.
Before downloading the video ClipGrab offers the user to choose the video quality settings (360p, 480p, HD 720p) and file format (MPEG4, WMV, OGG Theora, OGG Vorbis). In addition, the program allows you not only to download original files, but also to convert them to different formats. Conversion takes place right in the process of downloading the file, at the end of which the user receives the finished clip in the selected format. The application’s tools also include an option to extract the audio track from the video and save it as a separate audio file. To do this, use the following conversion options: MP3 (audio only) or OGG Vorbis (audio only).
ClipGrab has a flexible setup system that allows you to configure the application in detail. The program options allow you to specify a new folder for saving uploaded files, set up settings for working with the clipboard, set up the work of the proxy server, work with file metadata, as well as the behavior of downloads, the order of notifications and much more.

What I like most of the Clip Grab Application is the easy way to use it. Most sites make it hard to understand how to actually save the video but with Clip Grab I would only have to copy and paste the URL into my download spot on my computer. What would be easier though is if a software could run on top of the computer as you visit a Youtube page and you could click the share button and save to laptop. Another thing I didnt see is, is it compatible with a smart phone? With me and like most people I dont use laptop or computer to view Youtube, I use my phone.
