In order to use the email feature within CDR DICOM the office must be using a Mapi Compliant email program.
Using the Mail feature within CDR DICOM:
Select the Mail icon on the toolbar. The following window will appear:
CDRZIP: The office receiving the CDRZIP must be using CDR DICOM for Windows to view the images.
JPEG: This will either Email or export the Selected Images or Entire Exam in a JPEG format.
Postcard: Either the Selected Images or the Entire Exam will be emailed or exported as one JPEG file. See the example below:
Email: This option will email the Selected Images or Entire Exam. The office must be using a MAPI Complaint email program to use this feature. Web-based email programs will not work with this option. Such as, Yahoo, Gmail, etc.
File: This option will generate an attachment for the Selected Images or the Entire Exam, essentially exporting the images from CDR DICOM, in a JPEG format.
