Cmedia CMI8738 Driver Collection
All drivers of Cmedia CMI8738 has been extracted from CD Driver when I bought the audio card — CMI8738 on May 8, 2022.
This is a list of suported platforms coming from CD Driver. For each directory, I will zip it and do md5sum, and sha256sum.

Данная страница загрузки содержит следующее программное обеспечение (ПО):

Инсталляция происходит при помощи автоматической программы установки. ПО совместимо с Windows 7/8/10 и более ранними выпусками операционных систем.Чтобы устройство работало в Windows 10 необходимо установить драйвер для восьмой версии. Название файла в архиве: 8738-1.04(W8-CR).

Данный вариант может быть полезен при возникновении сложностей связанных с установкой или использованием программного обеспечения предложенного выше.Краткая инструкция по ручной установке драйвера в Windows 7:
- зайдите в Диспетчер устройств;
- вызовите Свойства звуковой карты (нажмите правой кнопкой мыши по устройству)
- перейдите на вкладку Драйвер, нажмите Обновить;
- выберите второй пункт (Выполнить поиск…);
- в поле «Искать драйверы в следующем месте» укажите месторасположение директории cmedia8738_winall_mxlx_custom (предварительно разархивируйте предложенный файл).
- убедитесь, что отмечен пункт Включая вложенные папки
- нажмите Далее и дождитесь окончания установки.
Версии ПО идентичны: 1.04 (8.17.40).
This is a drivers CD for CMI8738 sound cards, which contains drivers for DOS, Win95, Win98, WinNT, Win2k, WinXP, Win7, and Vista. There are drivers on the CD for cards with varying ESS sound chips including ESS1930, ESS1938, ESS1946, ESS1968, ESS1970, xESS1978, ESS1980, ESS1983, ESS1988, and ESS1989. Please note these drivers work for both PCI and PCIe based CMI8738 sound cards. I hope someone finds this drivers CD useful. Enjoy!
