Попробовал 56.2.11. Хоть и не фонтан, но свежая не бета версия waterfox после установки привычных для меня дополнений, заметно быстрее и легковесней чем полумертвая мазила:) Функционала waterfox +некоторых дополнений из коллекции ff оказалось более чем достаточно)

Поставил под Linux Mint браузер Waterfox на замену Basilisk, после того как последний при очередном обновлении «выкинул» все мои установленные расширения. Хорошо, что я успел все нужные мне расширения (xpi-файлы) вытащить из профиля базилиска и сохранить отдельно, так как Mozilla все расширения для этих клонов старого фокса из своего магазина расширений успела удалить и взять их теперь негде. Из файлов вставил в Waterfox и всё заработало, Waterfox заметно пошустрее, чем Basilisk. Браузер не плохой и не заброшенный, единственно где для него взять расширения? Для Pale Moon в собственном магазине расширений ну хоть что-то по минимуму есть, а где взять расширения для этой поделки, если её ставить с нуля — непонятно. Может потом разработчики Waterfox что-нибудь и придумают, но пока расширений для этого браузера не найти.

Скачал и установил новую версию WATERFOX 50.1.0-Работает отлично,но временно потому,что досих пор не исправлена ошибка очистки КЕША БРАУЗЕРА.Кеш полностью не очищается-остаётся 16 КБ,и это приводит к трудной загрузке интернет-страниц,видео и трудно идут закачки.Самая лучшая АКТУАЛЬНАЯ ВЕРСИЯ WATERFOX 40.1.0-РАБОТАЕТ ПО ВЫСШЕМУ КЛАССУ.В WATERFOX 50.1.0 Так же нет функции проверки актуальности плагинов-это очень плохо! Буду снова переходить на самую лучшую версию WATERFOX 40.1.0 .ОЧЕНЬ ЖАЛЬ,ЧТО ДОСИХ ПОР НЕМОГУТ НОВУЮ ВЕРСИЮ СДЕЛАТЬ КАК ПОЛОЖЕНО !!! Браузер Waterfox-отличный,самая лучшая версия Waterfox 40.1.0-Работает вообще на ура.У меня сейчас версия Waterfox 46.0.1-тоже хороший-быстрый,но иногда зависает Adobe Flash Plugin,кеш нужно систематически очищать-НУ,а так нет проблем.Вышла новая версия Waterfox 47.0-Скачал-установил.Плохо-КЕШ забивается очень быстро и полностью очистить невозможно никак,Систематически отключает Adobe Flash Player-при условии,что в настройках-ВСЕГДА ВКЛЮЧАТЬ,Подтамаживает,плохо переходит со страницы на страницу.НАДОЕЛО-Переустановил на Waterfox 46.0.1 /

In conclusion, my opinion is, this is an amazing browser that enables me to do a lot of different things I can’t do on Chrome or Firefox and I would recommend anyone to check out Waterfox and look up all the amazing features and extensions that it has to offer. Do you remember before chrome was around? When firefox was king? When internet explorer was slow and buggy and firefox was running at light speed? Well obviously firefox slowed down and became almost as bad, but this fork of it reminds me of how firefox used to run. Waterfox seems to be overlooked by competitors such as Google and Firefox, making it overshadowed yet underrated. For one, the privacy on Waterfox is outstanding with there being no telemetry basically meaning there will be no tracking information, maintaining the integrity of your data and not giving it to advertisers. Also, on a personal note, there’s a lot of themes to choose from whilst being easy to install in a second. Lastly, I love how the only thing Waterfox sends is your OS and browser version for updates, instead of sending millions of pieces of personal information. Overall, Waterfox is incredibly useful for someone who cares about their privacy.

Waterfox for windows is a browser of sorts. I gives you access to Firefox on lesser devices such as windows 7 and such, etc. I love using it on my older laptops, etc. Its a great product and I use it because I love Firefox browser on most of my devices!
